You've not shared that part of the letter. Is it that EDF are stopping E10, or is it just that it's been three months and they're updating for the new Ofgem cap?If it's just the cap change, get on the phone (or webchat, or whatever) and ask to be put onto the new "standard variable Economy 10" from the 1st of July. All the current standard variable tariffs will end on 30/06, that's when the Ofgem cap changes. There witbe new tariffs (consistent with the new cap) from 01/07.What we don't know is whether EDF have a "standard variable E10" tariff available from 01/07, or whether they've discontinued it.I'm hoping it says something about this in the letter.N. Ok, so they're stopping E10. No point arguing with them, they're not going to keep it running just for you. There's no need to rush. For the rest of the summer you'll be fine on the standard flat rate tariff (although you could ask EDF to move you onto Economy 7 if you prefer). When would you normally switch your storage heaters back on? September, October ? You'll have until then to choose a different tariff and/or supplier, and switch.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Its finding a supplier that gives an afternoon boost …
lots of customers..estimates around 900.000 customers have old style SH , and water heaters etc …so it won’t be just me who can’t afford this increase in night charges

Yep as @QrizB said they have retired it, but during the summer you will have a smaller daily rate. You have got time to look for options going forward. E7, cosy or snug fro octopus and then other suppliers.
Just when you scored the winner they moved the goalposts.
Do you shift other appliances to the E10 rates?
EDIT it’s a shane you can’t charge them an early exit fee🥴4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -

I don't know if Good Energy will let you sign up to their heat pump tariff, but it has seven cheap hours split 4+3, 0500-0900 and 1300-1600, at 12p/kWh:It looks quite a bit cheaper than your current tariff?N. Ovo won’t even quote me and octopus said I need to be a customer before even looking at snug
I am slightly happier it is summer and gives me time to look about
my concern is a lot of older people, especially in Scotland who are getting these letters will be overwhelmed by the rts change and then this
It’s a disgrace that older generation who are not so tech savvy are going to have to navigate this as well0
