Snap also used the free energy hour for cleaning the dishwasher/washing machine - great minds think alike 😆

I used the free energy hour to run a load through the dishwasher and another through the washing machine.

If we had been home we would also of used the oven.

Certainly is quite enough some days @PennysIntoPounds

Small OAT for me - I'd spotted something in a newspaper that will interest some friends, so thought I'd cut it out and post it. Of course it's been sat on the dining table for a fortnight 🙄 but yesterday I actually put it in an envelope, and found the address and stamp. Just need to remember to stick it in the post on my way to work!

Hope the cold is on the way out for MrPiP - MrEH also thinks he's brewing one, I'm hoping that goes away without being passed to me, too!

    - Savings assessment done here over the weekend - so I now have updated totals, notes of when Reg Savers finish, and notes of what we will be doing with the money from them afterwards.
    - New ISA opened with a better rate - that creates a new OAT though as I need to deal with a form for transferring the old ISA AND get it in the post!
    - carpet cleaner we have been musing about for ages has been purchased - and we've given it a go on a couple of carpets as well. (£75 saving over even the reduced price direct from the Jaws people themselves).
    - Garden stuff: apart from a handful of tomatoes and a single bush bean, all seedlings are now planted out - I may just compost those last toms though as I already have more than I need, really!
    - Remembered when I got to the office that I planned to book some extra oddments of holiday - to make travel for the big airshow next week easier, and to give myself a days recovery time after the beer festival...

outstanding stuff - might add to this as I think of things:
    - check what I need to do to submit feedback to a new planned road scheme locally
    - Get that ISA form completed
    - buy stamps to get ISA form in the post
    - See if the T's near work has more of the big plant saucers
    - Decide what else might want sowing for successional cropping - more beans?

Thanks @EssexHebridean, he's feeling a bit better today so hopefully on its way out. I will however be keeping my distance and kipping in the living room until he's 100% though!

I ordered a birthday card for Mr PIP's birthday today which has been on the to-do list for about a month

On Sunday I sorted a drain out properly, from the temporary fix I did a few months ago. It's now got 3 barriers to prevent it blocking. I will cry when I have to take it apart and clean it every few weeks, but I will be very happy when I don't have a flooded patio and have to ladle out stinking drains in winter.

Big T's did NOT have plant saucers, but did have bargainously priced 100% cotton bedding sets (£11.50 for a double duvet cover set!), so that's a task crossed off the list before it even got added!
