PIP I'm no good at saving gifts for official occasions as I love giving presents.  MrBC and I have an agreement that a gift can be given on any day as we try to make each day special.  Before this sounds too slushy our finances are totally entwined so there's a good chance he's paying for it anyway 😇

Haha @Blackcats well that seems reasonable for both of you then! I'm the same, very annoying that my love language is gift giving when I'm the skintest person I know 😂

I gift things to Mr KK when they arrive as otherwise they are often no longer relevant by the time they are received.

I have a persistent low level feeling of anxiety which I'm pretty sure is related to a change in meds a few weeks ago but is also likely not helped by all the stuff I should be doing, that I keep thinking about but not doing. So today I am posting in here for a bit of accountability that I will be contacting a charity to see if they need donations of kitchen stuff (been taking up half my living room for about a month) and sending a meter reading (not an oat but will be soon).

Not been on here for a few days, but nice to see everyone still going strong.  I have had a few things going on, so not done too many OATS lately. But from now on I am going to try and do a lot more.  Today is to sort out the rest of the stuff for the CS, list an item on FB local freebie page, and then I am going to actually finally get round to writing  a list of OATs that need to be done, that way I might get through them quicker and not forget about them. Then I can just add more to it as needed.

I had my 14th class of the year today. I am going to charge my kindle as I want to start a book tomorrow as I'm really being slow with reading. It is horribly muggy today and I have done 15,000 steps and I feel like I need a shower.

I ordered some pics from Etsy and I need to hang them when they get here. I'm trying to make my house look different without any wall painting as the house was painted in 2023. I bought blue curtains for both living rooms and the pics I have to hang are all blue or seaside related. I think I will get some new blue cushion covers too.

The new blue sofa arrived while I was out at my class so I am going to get myself a cold drink and try it out.

Cleared the area outside of my potting shed of pots and vegetation at the request of Mr KK so he can stuck into laying more concrete there when he gets back. Found a couple of lilies that might be worth rescuing, so repotted them and gave them a good water 😊

The last few days seem to draw a blank but I must have done something other than try to keep cool?

In my customery fashion I ticked off a lingering OAT this morning and bought a replacement TV without really thinking about it. Same make I’ve always gone for and simply went for same width but a decent spec I hope. I’ve paid the premium for someone to deliver, unpack, remove packaging, recycle old TV and set it all up for us. Not very MSE I know but I have saved around £30 going through cash back and buying vouchers with 2.5% instant cash back. I also remembered to put some on a credit card so I get Section 75 protection.
