No great achievements from me as I've been birthday gallivanting- but still keeping the OAT prevention faith by recognising I'm doing something daft and remedying it. Turns out you can put saved wrapping paper in the wrapping paper box rather than putting it on the box to put in 'later' and it only takes two seconds 😁

I've only squeezed 1 OAT in this weekend, decluttered another part of the kitchen.

Fed the greenhouse. Endless watering. Endless picking and freezeing of strawberries and peas (need to sort out the spinach at some point too, and clear round the courgettes as I keep forgetting about those too).

Dog is having his bits off tomorrow, so I need to remember to put him to bed early and NOT to feed him in the morning.

That's a great revelation. I applied it to putting 2 torn up envelopes straight in the recycling box instead of on the table next to the recycling box to await me putting it in the recycling box at a later stage.

Next week's list of OATs is written ready for a final flurry for the end of the month.  I think that means I'm poised ready for action tomorrow which in turns means I can relax and do some knitting now.

    Sounds a great achievement @Baileys_Babe

Good luck to you and dog tomorrow @greenbee

Why on earth do we do these '(absolutely no) time saving' things @Blackcats 😂
Looking forward to hearing yours and everyone's end of month OAT flurries

I'm a recent convert to putting envelopes straight into the recycling rather than leaving them sitting on the side for a while...! Now I just need to convert MrEH as well...

I thought I had replied here but seemingly not - or perhaps the second attempt got eaten by the forum in the same way the first did...

The packing beads are now listed on Freecycle - and will remain there for a few days until I get bored with needing to check the site for responses - at which point I will remove them and start feeding them into the compost bin.

The upstairs plugholes did indeed get white vinegared and are now behaving fare better. Haven't done downstairs as initially I ran out of WV - and subsequently I did a cloth-soak in washing soda and hot water in the kitchen sink so that one is now running freely again anyway as a result of that.

More phone clearing done, still plenty to go.

Absolutely no effort at rubbing down paintwork over the weekend as neither of us could deal with the idea of being covered in dust in those temperatures!

Insurance done. More strawberries picked and freezing ongoing.

Stinky is in recovery and sleepy but happy apparently, so I'll pick him up from the vet at 2.30pm.

Some work done. More work needed.

Cat eyedrops done x2, medicine x1, lunch for both cats provided (only one cat in evidence - it's a good job that the one who needs drops three times a day is the greedy one!).

Cherrypicked some quick and easy tasks from the final list for June.

I ordered our vitamins/supplements just in time to avoid running out of some
ordered a picture that MrBC really wants but couldn't bring himself to buy

sorted out my dad's bank who had kindly written to say that they were switching him to paperless statements.  He's 97 and he likes to read his bank statement on a piece of paper.  I can't begin to imagine trying to show him how to go online 🤦‍♀️. Funnily enough he has the fastest broadband I've ever come across thanks to ver-gin meedya insisting it was an essential part of the latest package.

They sound like good tasks @Blackcats!
That's so nice about the picture. Will you save it for birthday/Christmas?
Effing banks, I expect them to be annoying for the rest of us but can they not at least have a bit of decency and tailored customer service for people in their 90s 🙄 Well done getting that sorted. You'll have to start trading on the stock market round his what with his super fast broadband!
