Sneaking in... Loving the idea of OATs, initially thought "Oh, I don't think I have any of those" and then of course realised the error or my thought processes...
If I may with a small effort at a list of bits that are eligible then...
- Finally get round to white vinegar & bicarb'ing my plugholes (not a euphemism) to stop my phone nagging me about it on a daily basis
- Tackle the enormous box of packaging materials in the office - seriously, a few of those cornstarch packing beads are useful to have about, a MASSIVE box of them, less so, and they keep blowing all over the place when the fab is on.
- Pictures - we still have a stack of them to go up (yes, after 2 years, I KNOW!), so must crack on with that. May need more hooks...
- clear some more toot off my phone to free up sufficient space that everything can back up to the cloud without me needing to pay the fruit corporation more money each month.
- more rubbing down and wood preserving bits of shed/garden office structure. The current patchwork effect is interesting, but not exactly gentle on the eye...
- Start properly working out what we are doing about the logstore...mot least as we want to get the logs out of the shed so the coal can come out of the office....
This currently all has to be juggled around our regular day jobs, a voluntary role which at this point in time is taking up a ludicrous amount of time (that is time limited, and will drop back to almost nothing in a couple of months until we begin the whole thing again in the late autumn) and all the usual home/garden stuff, plus trying to have some form of at least occasional social life...🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Very welcome @EssexHebridean and a great OAT list to tackle. Obviously everything has to be done at an acceptable pace around daily life, these diaries are entirely about recognising the things that do or will give us that background brain discomfort or heart sinking feeling, and making them actionable, because our poor old brains and hearts don't need extra worries when we could in fact just do or progress the task!
Surviving this weather without sunburn/dehydration/rash decisions to move to Antarctica absolutely an achievement @Makingabobor2
Well done @Baileys_Babe, hope you have an OAT scoffing day4 -
I'm going to reframe my stressy day out yesterday as an OAT and say I was catching up with family members who I (mostly) hadn't seen for a year! No more family guilt for a good few months now. I have paid my dues thoroughly.
I like to keep my OAT demands contained to the last week or so of the month so I will be joining you all with some proper OATs after I've rested and recovered from a busy two weeks.Debts 04/01/25 02/08/25

OATing on behalf of Mr KK who is in France-land atm with his best mate. I am washing all of his floordrobe and the huge heap of heavy, winter weight work shirts, jackets and gilets that are scattered across the conservatory whilst the weather is hot and dry. (He never remembers at this time of year, only when he needs them again!).
If I don't burn out the washing machine or myself doing this, I may move onto the living room curtains!

Stopped talking about booking a hotel and booked a hotel. Went via £co and also discovered that an organised version of me had previously signed up to a hotel booking points scheme so was able to knock £16.05 off the price.
sorted out the shed - not as in sorting out carp in an existing shed but agreeing what shed to buy and actually buying it. Honestly there's a limit to how many shed catalogues I can peruse with a semblance of interest.
Regular savers that need manual feeding have been fed.5
