I have finally emptied the bag of logs I had delivered last autumn. There were only a few left in there but it was one of those gross tedious jobs that's better done with someone else. I did it on my own (and a few work related tasks) because I promised myself I could have chips if I did them all!
    It's been a tough month!😄

    Enjoy your chips @rachmac3.

today I collected my repaired necklace from the jewellers.  It's a simple silver pendant that is part of a set my mum gave me and which I started wearing again when we did our shiny happy Advent thread.  Then the blooming pearl fell off so rather than put it back in the box and back in the drawer I took it to our lovely independent jewellers who have fixed it for me for £15.

Relisted some stuff on olio, and put a few new bits on. I've said they need to be collected by Monday morning. Fingers crossed some of it gets a new home, if not it'll be taken to the tip Monday.

Billions of lick mats and kongs prepped for Stinky to keep him occupied while he's housebound.

Leaking connectors for leaky hose under hydrangeas replaced (I have a gardener, who used this the other day, and didn't bother to mention that the connection was leaking so much that the chances of any water making it to the far end were minimal, which annoys me).

I need to get the other solar irrigation system out - it connects to the tap which isn't ideal (those connections always seem to leak too, but I can put a bucket under it). Hopefully I'll have enough tubing and drippers to do something useful with.

Then I need to work out whether I can connect the veg plot system to a solar pump.

I vacuumed this morning and made a grocery order for tomorrow. I have moved the furniture around a bit and I'm finally about to hang up all the pics as they arrived. It is so hot and I'm wearing my neck fan around the house. I'm going to finish my book afterwards.

Horrible landing carpet ripped up last night. My mate ripped it off the stairs and painted them for me May last year so it'll be nice to get the landing done too eventually.
Also dip a run to the tip this morning with the carpet and some garden junk.
    One Olio item picked up.
I'm having a rest now after such a busy morning.
Whatever else gets done today will be a bonus.

Everyone is smashing it! I am super impressed.
I have finalised a draft of an official letter and will go to my mums tomorrow to print it out as it needs posting.
I've been putting this off for weeks now which is just what the b*ggers want making it so hard to complain, but me and my OAT will not be defeated!
