That’s my meter … I get two rates now

the guy who installed it , he had a bit of bother , but got there in the end , and I’m so happy

works well , bills are lower and my home is warm

Sometimes the off peak comes on for extra hours a bit randomly in the late evening which is always a bonus as all the power goes to the snug rate then

yes. Meter change would be my favourite option if needed. To be honest all it needs to do is charge the heat/water circuit at the cheap rate and the other circuit at the peak rate, so end up with 2 rates. Surely that’s not too difficult?

Edit. Update today, spoke to the engineering team at Octopus, very helpful guy, worked out I have 2 MPANs, and EDF only transferred one across. Seems the water/heat circuit is on a separate mpan. Once they have that, he says setting the registers correctly should be straightforward and moving to snug should be fine

Until the smart meter was put in I had a dual MPAN complex meter. Eon were a nightmare but Octopus were great

Exactly the same happened to me when I got my meter installed by EDF , I put a complaint in with EDF .. they credited my account with some compensation

c10 years ago when I lost rts - as part of EOns tariff simplification - the only people I could get sense out of was their customer facing complex metering team.

AFAIK they didnt survive as a unit when EOn made the switch to EOn Next for domestic after nPower acquisition.
