Economy 10 & Smart Meters

correct, they never really understood making sure the timing and calendar were the same, so their solution was to add the 2 TOU rate 1s together, and the 2 TOU Rate 2’s which is just the water/heat comes on 0137-0837 at the moment. I don’t use much overnight so I was ok with them doing that. Standard Variable Heating is the name of the tariff. In the old days my 2 separate meters were E7 plus the water/heat circuit.
Interestingly this week I have had the water on overnight and obviously not the storage heat and the only reading that is moving is Second TOU Rate 2. Can’t remember when I switched the heaters off but definitely up to the 12 th May there was a reading for Second TOU Rate 1. I do have an IHD now, which tells me daily cost and unit use, but is no real use, no tariff or std charge info in

Re. "Standard Variable Heating":
Do you have a link to the EDF Tariff Information Label for details?
and
Which doesnt seem to match any of the SR or E7 tables in DM903 exactly - but you can clearly see the PZ19 peak rates are far closer to normal SR
If you stick a North Scotland postcode (I used KW14 8AG which is a street in Thurso) into EDF's Tariff Information Labels webpage, It will spit out a label for this tariff.
This is only a single rate, so my assumption is that this rate only applies to the restricted output from the meter.
The other half of the meter seems to be charged at the regular SVT (note that the "SV Heating" rate for Thurso is the same as the SVT E7 off-peak rate):
