The woman on the show was talking about a doll forum. I've searched and can't find it, has anyone found the site please? My Mum would love one of these banies, purely as a doll.
After doing the Channel 4 Documentary 'MY FAKE BABY' I have decided due to high demand to do a one off auction for a custom reborn baby of your choice.
The Auction winner will recieve a full consultation for a custom reborn.
The reborn baby will be completed to your specifications and will include sculpt, painting, micro rooting, filling and clothing.
I have included some photographs of some of my work for you to look at. Please note none of the babies are available to purchase and are just to represent the standard of work I do.

    From Ophie's link.

Err.... well... today I have had my pram in the bath soaking the wheels in stardrops and hot water and scrubbing them with a toothbrush. But in my defence I am selling the pram as its hardly been used but the wheels had mud on them and I wanted them sparkly clean for the pictures

Is that a good enough reason?
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware
    I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care

lol no, I was just being all... I want more money for the pram than if it had dirty wheels!!!

The one I use daily has never been washed, although I suspect that if it was absolutely filthy and stuck up with mud I would hose it down outside but not inside

  • i regularly hose down my pram wheels - our street has more dog mess than pavement. not in the sink though - ick!

i wouldn't want one - they look like the dead baby my aunt has photographs of.

  • The woman who went to America for the doll, with the OCD problem about her pram wheels - how ironic was all that about the "cracked head"? I felt sorry for her, but it was a bit scary when she went all pathological about the perfection - one minute this doll is being treated like a real baby, the next it is "faulty".

I did end up thinking who is it with a crack in the head, exactly?!

It wouldn't be my cup of tea, as I like collectable dolls, but not this sort.

But, are these women any different from some people who keep dogs in a way that suggests they see them as their "babies"?

Outfits, designer beds, toys - on it goes.

Then, if they die, it's tears, funeral services, ashes in boxes and bereavement counselling - in fact, acting as though the animal was their child.

I think grief/seperation often has strange effects on people, and these people obviously feel comforted by these dolls, and they are harming no-one.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
