I saw part of this programme last night.

I did think the 80's wham woman was tipped off the scale of wierdo! But not entirely the Grandma.........till she took it for a walk in the pram..odd.

What happened if someone peeked into the pram to see new Grandbaby (thats what you expect to see surely?) and saw Chucky! (IMO)

As I went for my lunch today I saw a middle aged ish woman pushing a pram, my 1st thought was 'bet she has a doll' she looked too old (IMO) for a baby.

I have no qualms with ladies enjoying still playing dolls after childhood if thats there thing but to me its a behind closed doors game, to have a life size pram/car seat and all the clothes etc is freaky and a lot sad.

Imagine going up to admire a baby and then finding it is one of these? What would you say???

It seems along the same lines of asking someone when they are due and then finding they are just overweight to me! redface.gif

To be fair......no one knows whether she actually had the doll in that pram at the end. The show certainly made it look like that....but it could have been one of her grandchildren?

Well to be fair with the presumption, the content of the show gave me the impression it WOULDN'T be a *live* Grandchild. :D

    I know.

The program makers certainly weren't stupid.......I think it was edited in the best way possible to make those women look as oddball as possible. The way they led the viewers on to believe that she had lost one of her grandchildren was deliberate and misleading.

It's a question of being able to separate reality from what you see on the tv.

I find this doll really disturbing
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware

    Thats wrong on many levels.

Wiring newborns directly to the mains isnt the way to go people! Always fit a powerbreaker first :D

That's sick! I think these dolls make a mockery out of premature and disabled babies :(

If you have a couple of hundred quid spare give it to a children's charity, help some real babies.
