You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0

I didn't watch the programme - so did a google search to find a little more about it and found this work of art pathological and just so deeply disturbing.0

I did watch the programme and found it very disturbing. As 'toys' or collectors items I'm sure they're fine, but it seemed that the people that wanted to own these 'dolls' had far deeper issues.Proud to be a Clob Clubber :beer:0 -
There are loads of them on eBay.
I personally think they are creepy and look like dead babies.
People have actually used them to 'replace' dead babies.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Search ebay for berenguer.
The lady that did them last night has a site as well,
http://www.babybuntinsnursery.com but its down at the moment.
For a good one (not like some of the hideously ugly ones last night!) you are talking £250 - £3500 -

i have to agree with you. The ladys on the show had very deep emotional issues to deal with.
The lady was trying to replace her grandson, even her grandson thought it weird that his nan had a doll called harry. She came across like her daughter shouldnt of taken her grandson to new zeland. My opinion was if you missed him that much then go to new zeland then!!!
And the other lady who flew to america is just yearning for her own baby. Who would spend £300 on horrible baby clothes in harrods for a doll
The husbands had it right in my opinion!!!0 -
these women had some serious issues! the dolls are ornaments and yet some of the women wanted them to be replacement children (without the mess/noise) they pushed them round in prams and had car seats for them ..... they obviously have some issues in thier lives!
the lady that had her granson go to newzealand is obviously a very lonely person... she said she'd asked her daughter not to take her grandson to newzeland! so she had a doll made to replace him, she needs some kind of counseling not a doll. I find the dolls creepy and the husband had it so right when he described it as "something you'd find on the mortuary slab.."
not my thing at all.....Bad mother to 2!

I felt very sorry for the women on the show, especially the older lady. She really missed her grandson that she had practically brought up. I hope her daughter saw it and realised how much she needs to see her grandson again.
Shame she can't move to New Zealand.
I wonder if the other woman could not actaully have children but didn't want to say that on the program. The doll, the flight, pram , the clothes £1000's!!0 -
of course these women had serious issues. They all sounded as though they were grieving in some way and who on earth can blame them for taking this harmless route to getting some comfort0
