I had a look at the recipe and realised that I have the book - slopes off to read it for more ideas 🤭

    Good morning,

I love the Delia Dhal recipe. I have most things in my cupboard at home!

Well just had breakfast and packing to come home. I’m looking forward to it, not the whole work situation but just being back with my own things etc.

Finally home, am exhausted! Need to
be at work for 0730 tomorrow too, cats look healthy as neighbour has been feeding them but they have weed on the sofa. Have stripped it and that’s already in the wash. Have opened my emails and have so many from work. Everyone wanting their pound of flesh, it’s crazy. At least I have time to chill out a bit tonight.  Also Have managed to get a paid morning of work for £100 on the 27th Aug, so that’s good, will just take TOIL for it.

We have a bit of a family feud/quarrel going on. Well it’s OH and BIL. It’s causing a few issues and OH is very upset and stressed by it. There is always something…..

Well done on the bargains, and good on the extra bit of work.  TOIL is always nice to have as well.

Hope the family dispute resolves itself quickly.

Thanks @jwil  well am at work and it is crazy busy. I woke up every hour worrying about it so am exhausted now. Spoke to boss and IF I get a pay rise etc it won’t be any time soon…. And he also said we might all be out of a job soon anyway…. Not what I wanted to hear when I’m working my backside off. My head can’t really cope with this, I’m trying to manage my money and get myself out of my OD but it’s so hard at the moment. Especially having to pay for uniforms and working a lot of days going forward, (here on Saturday), so lots of fuel.

Sorry all a bit negative. But I will try and pull my socks up and think a bit more productively instead of grumpily.

The job is giving you stress to the point you cant sleep properly. It is affecting your health (recently ill whilst on holiday). You are overworked (guessing this is due to reducing workforce?). At best for all this you might get a payrise at a later date (and if you do,  being paid more still wont reduce the workload youre doing, it will just help with the household finances) and at worst you'll lose your job along with the rest of your colleagues and I *think* you said you weren't eligible for redundancy. Everything points to looking for something else as soon as you can.

Good you managed to get uniform cheaper, so much more difficult when they're Secondary school age. Im guessing ex wont chip in towards the additional costs?
