Thank you @Spendless yes I will have chance to go to the supermarket, I’m going after work tomorrow. Growing up I had crab paste sandwiches far too much so I’m not sure if I could cope with paste sandwiches, *shudders at the thought. I do love jelly though! I will have a good look and come up with something. And yes @fionaandphil I will definitely be claiming the food back even if it is just supermarket food. I have been given the form to apply for a work credit card but it takes a very long time to come through, so that will be a job for the week after next.

So…. Might have just dropped the children’s school stuff off at ex’s at the most inopportune time….. usually I just leave it on the door step, but his mum and uncle were just about to back off the drive and ex was in the drive way. I didn’t expect to see anyone so was in very short shorts and erm a T-shirt with no bra…. Not the best impression 🤦🏻‍♀️. Couldn’t help laughing to myself, I’m so glad to be out of that. Ex stood their giving me daggers and Ex MIL stood there with her mouth hanging open at me! 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Love that @dawnybabes I should have!

sorry I’ve been quiet, I’ve tried to post at least 3 times and have been questioned if I am a human then it wouldn’t go through!

I am at event and I will end spending money, had a very arduous journey there and didn’t get chance for dinner, so bought drinks for everyone and some food for myself. I can claim the food back but it I will be in my overdraft this month until that’s paid
ho hum. Best laid plans, but I am learning and know I need a £200 spends budget for future months.

I sometimes get that with trying to log in, not just on here.

I meant to say, are you aware of any co worker that maybe collects rewards/points on their credit card and is only too happy to pay for yours and claim that expense back themselves, if thats allowed?

Definitely apply for that company credit card though, even if it takes weeks, even if you're unsure where the job is heading. Having one is a game changer when it comes to having to fund business expenses.

    Hi!

So sorry I haven’t been around! Work event was crazy and I ended up spending so much money, and me and OH have argued over stupid things, mostly because we’re so tired and work and worry are taking their toll… so I consoled myself by buying ready made food and by clothes shopping! I know, I know…..When will I learn. I obviously respond badly to my emotions. I have halted it which is a good thing and recognise the fact so no more spending. But I am massively into my OD again. And have my tax bill to pay at the end of the month. Job news I still have a job for now. OH has very little work booked in after this month so I’m not feeling that great about money.

Need to reset my head a little. A lot of my struggling is I’m working far too hard, it’s effecting my sleep. So have booked to go and stay with OH when he goes abroad to work next week, I paid for the flight and am hoping he will give me half back, but it’s an amazing hotel and I will at least get a break and have time to breathe, despite OH having to work. We also have our mini break the week after which we booked a while ago. Only a few days but still nice to have a little holiday. And yes I fully understand I shouldn’t be having holidays when i am in my overdraft and money is a worry, but it’s already booked. And I am really struggling with my mental health as is OH and a much needed mini holiday together will hopefully help reset things. And I know I am justifying it to myself. I am learning and definitely getting better. The past few years we’ve just thrown caution to the wind and has massively expensive 2 week holidays. But we’re not doing that this year.

right I need to get out of the hammock and put some rice on to cook!

    thanks for sticking by me.
