I've been lucky that I've not had any letters from the council re: CTR other than the initial one when I first claimed UC and the one the council then sent to advise me of how much CTR I would get. My UC payments have remained the same each month so I'm assuming this had preveneted any further letters from being sent.

I'd keep them all, you never know if you might need to refer back to them.
(Personally I also scan all such letters and keep copies on my computer, which also get backed up to external drives).

@Starbright2 : just wondering if you've yet been contacted by ESA about confirming your claimant committments for NS-ESA. You hadn't in mid August. I still haven't been contacted and it's now almost 4 months since I claimed UC. I still keep seeing posts here at MSE and at other boards from people who are in the process of migrating who are getting contacted almost immediately after claiming UC so am curious if you're still waiting too, given that you made your claim for UC about a day after I made mine, back in May.

Hi @Robbie64 No I haven't had anything, I was just wondering to myself if they had stopped doing it for people who are in the support group, or putting them to the bottom of the pile?. Do you remember if the people you see getting the appointments are in the support group or not?.

We are in two different areas also so that's at least two areas not contacting people.

I'd imagine all are in the Support Group as otherwise CB-ESA would have ceased after being paid for 1 year (if the person was in the Work Related Activity Group). Those in WRAG should be in receipt of IR-ESA only when receiving a migration notice.

The friend who I helped claim UC from ESA SG on 1st Feb has never been contacted.

Is your friend also getting fortnightly payments of ESA at £281.10 per fortnight?
It's strange how some people are getting contacted almost straight away about agreeing a claimant committment for NS-ESA after submitting a UC claim while others are yet to be contacted months after migrating. I wonder if it's deliberate (backlogs? although I'd have expected someone who claimed UC in February to have been contacted about NS-ESA by now) or if some people are simply being overlooked.

Yep, their first UC payment ESA wasn't deducted from it but sorted from second AP.  There doesn't seem to be any reason why some aren't contacted about move to NS

I have an elderly relative who can't get out much & does not have internet. When they need something I order it online for them because I can't get out much due to my illnesses. Once the things ordered come the elderly relative pays me for them in cash.

This means I'm starting to get cash. How do I let UC know about this cash?. Is there a bit on the let us know of a change in money section which I will be filling out again soon

    Thanks
