Just bought a coffee. £3.80. I won’t have another one till Wednesday and not going to buy coffee over the weekend.
I have bought a swim and a cinema ticket with this week’s money. My aim is not to buy any tangible goods until next Friday.
Just listening to radio 1xtra (free). I will see if there are any good films on iPlayer. Must remember to cancel Netflix now I’ve been to my mum’s. I get it so we can watch films together. I am going to read a book this weekend.0 bonus saver

Seems a weekly budget is working quite well. Though £90 is alot for just spending money. Hopefully once you get used to living within your budget you can look at ways to reduce it.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200
*Virgin Credit Card - £3552.50 - £0
*Natwest - £1828.35 -£0.00
Barclaycard - £2315.25 - £0.00
Creation Finance - £960.32 £840
*Total debt - £8040/£11641.17*
Savings
*Savings Buffer - £100/£1500
*Emergency Fund - £1500/£1500

Am still drinking much less coffee, saving money and sleeping better. I just got my weekend coffee, a bun and some sourdough bread from the cafe next door. It was £12 but I had some money left in the food pot so I put it all on there. I only need to buy yoghurt, blueberries and some bread for work this month now and I have £8 left in the food pot.
Going to watch Saturday Kitchen in a minute. My mum got me in to watching it and I love it. I need to package up the film I paid for processing and some wool I sold. Also look for my resistance band which I know I still have somewhere.
Knitting group this afternoon. I am knitting a baby cardigan as someone in my family is having a baby!!!! She has also got engaged but the wedding won’t be for a while due to cost. Luckily she doesn’t share my attitude to money which is spend now, worry later.0 bonus saver

Got paid today so did all my payments and moved money to the right places for the month ahead. Went for a lovely swim yesterday and have booked one for next week as well. I have a quiet weekend coming up, might go for a long cycle ride depending on the weather. Maybe I’ll take a trip to the cinema, perhaps on Monday when it’s cheap depending on what is on.
I have quite a bit of food in but will do another supermarket shop for about a week and a half when that has run out. I need to start thinking of what I fancy to eat.0 bonus saver

Heading into the weekend, I have a quiet one planned. Just watching tv at the moment. Having a weekly budget is working well for me after a bit of initial getting used to.0 bonus saver

Back to work. I spent a fair bit at the weekend but no splurges and kept within my weekly budget. I have enough to get coffee every morning this week. I know to some it seems like a complete waste of money but actually, £30 a week for half an hour a day of sitting outside and having some peace and quiet before work is well worth it to me. I also paid £10 at the weekend to get my rucksack mended and bought some posh coffee for my sister and her husband as I’m going to stay with them next week.
I had my photography evening class this evening which was great. We learnt how to use Photoshop which I have used before but we went into more depth and I’d forgotten a lot anyway. I find the tutor on this course really good and I’m learning a lot.
Finally, I bought chips in Five Guys after my course because I fancied them. It was £5.95 for a regular fries and definitely not worth it! I will hopefully remember next time.
I’m pleased with how it’s going. I should be able to get my debt cleared by the end of September and start saving and putting extra money in my pension. If I can keep up the good habits I’ll be able to save quite a bit.0 bonus saver

As somebody who drinks a decaffeinated instant coffee with milk maybe 3 times a week I do struggle to understand why people spend so much on this drink. There again we are all different. I certainly wouldn’t be spending say £20 plus a week on it if I had debt to pay off.
I did buy a fairly simple coffee machine to give friends more of a choice when they visit lol. However it is rarely used. I find the cost of the pods ridiculous when compared to a jar of Sainsburys instant decaf.

Instant is ok, my preference is the Little's cardamom flavoured coffee, but that's £5 for a small (50g) jar.
However, decaf 3x a week indicates you don't like coffee much... I think the OP likes coffee a lot!2 -

Had dinner at my sister’s tonight. She made a smoked haddock, leek and spinach risotto which was absolutely delicious and we had strawberries and cream for dessert. I got the strawberries off the market, they were Norfolk strawberries and tasted delicious even though it is a tiny bit early. The best thing is no washing up! Early bed tonight as I’ve been very tired in the morning the last few days.
One more day to the weekend. I also have three days off at the start of next week and am going to see my other sister and her family which I’m really looking forward to.
My budget resets tomorrow so I’ll pay myself another week’s money.0 bonus saver
