I have my annual performance review next January. They started me at the top of the pay scale but I still want a raise of £500-1000. I know it’s a big ask.

Basically I have to put all that into my pension as I am in Nest and no chance for paid overtime.

I spend about £150+ a month on coffees out. Then about £20 on beans for home.

You need to set a realistic budget and stick to it. Keeping a record of spending on your new app should help you to see what you’re spending and then you can cut back. Are you still in your overdraft?

Am writing down everything I spend. It’s pretty helpful. I’m actually not sure it’s the little things (apart from coffee). I think the bigger things are probably more of a problem.

First day back at work after my holiday. It went pretty well. Everyone was really nice.

I can’t wait to start my Open University course.

Tuesday. I looked at my credit card and it’s actually a bit higher than I thought. Will take a while to pay off.
