Hi, you have no rent or mortgage, is that correct?
Have you  checked to see if you can get a balance transfer card? That would save you some money.
What are your short / long term goals? Good luck V x

My short term goals are to stay in my job or get a better one. My long term goals are to have a nice office job where I can walk around and use my brain and have time in the evening to do arts and crafts. I just don’t want everything to feel so pressured.

I’m starting studying Business and Law access with the Open University. I like studying and will probably only need to spend 3 hours a week on it as I’m a fast reader. If it doesn’t go well it doesn’t matter.

I’d like to earn about thirty thousand pounds. It would take the pressure off and let me move forward financially. I don’t want that if it means pressure.

Have you just started the course?

I'm doing a part time law masters with the OU and I can assure you, you'll need more than 3hrs per week (I spend 16hrs a week or so on it)  - it's not just the reading, it's the cogitating to assimilate what you've read into an assignment.

Nice office jobs usually don't include much walking around unfortunately...

Yeah, I can’t afford to do a Law masters and I’m too old to become a lawyer anyway.

The the OUs law masters won't qualify you as a lawyer, you'd need to pass the SQA exams or the BPC. I'm not doing it to be a lawyer.
