6 days to payday. £10 in my bank account but no food needed. I need to bake bread rolls tonight. I’ve cancelled my beautician appointment for Saturday. Need to remake it for after payday.
Got a Waitrose order last night which I did stick on the CC. A kind of last hurrah. I only allow myself a Waitrose order when I need b** roll. It cost £65 with delivery. Probably a week’s food so about right. Probably £6-8 more than Tescos or Aldi. I have stuff to make pizza, pasta puttanesca plus fresh spaghetti and a butternut squash. I think I will use the fresh spaghetti for the pasta putt and also cacio e pepe. I’ll use the butternut squash for roasting then make a few night’s meals with it.
Roll on the weekend. I got my wool for the blanket making class I am doing in the post yesterday. Going to make a start on it at the weekend. Will watch the new Masterchef and some Netflix (£12.99/ month).
I am now paying for a productivity app called Motion. I’m not promoting it but I find it really helps me to get a lot achieved and feel like I am getting value from my life. It costs £20/ month. It is AI which I generally avoid due to the environmental burden but have decided to allow myself this little thing. I’ll use Copilot less. I never use Chat GTP.Credit card 2000

I transferred £20 from my NS&I to cover the Motion sub. I think I’m treating NS&I the wrong way. I should save up in one of my throwaway savings accounts and then transfer to NS&I once I have long term savings.Credit card 2000

FREEZING today. I've cranked the heating up to 24 to try and warm the room up. Gonna watch Masterchef in a minute. Thermometer is now reading 18. I need to wash up but I really can't be bothered.
I've been working at another site today. It went ok. I got some good feedback from the supervisor there via my line manager who was around today. It wasn't too boring either.
ROLL ON PAYDAY. I also have Monday off to get a smart meter fitted and have some blood taken for a massive health study I joined. I get a £10 Amazon voucher. Will have to choose something good although god knows what £10 will buy. I'll have a browse.Credit card 2000

YesNo need to spend it immediately. Just leave the £10 in your Amazon account and you can use it any time in the next 2 years so just wait until to NEED to buy something and use it then.1

Have redone the budget for next month. I have £90 a week in incidental spends (this does include all toiletries, gifts etc, basically anything that is not food, bills and travel). Should be manageable but I start robbing from my later self early in the month and before we know it I’m skint.
I want to get my brows tinted and lip waxed, buy some posh bathroom scent from Purdy and Figg (astronomically priced cleaning company). Also need dental floss and deodorant. As we are moving back into winter I can switch to natural deodorant again. It’s pricey but I prefer it. It just doesn't keep me smelling nice in summer. Maybe next summer I’ll try it but wear perfume every day.
I’m working overtime on Sunday.
