Having a very relaxing day today. Went to the gym this morning but my code wouldn't let me in so I've emailed the complaint email address asking why and for a refund for my day pass. Went to Aldi and spent about £15. I've done the washing up and I think I'll clean the bathroom and then have a bath in a minute. Have put my bedding in to wash and need to put the dry washing away. Then I'll do some knitting while I watch A Place in the Sun/ Four in a Bed or similar and put tonight's baked potato in the oven.
I'm on quite good shifts next week and Friday is payday so that's something to look forward to.Credit card 2395

Feeling a bit meh, not sure why. Keep checking to see when my payslip is out but it’s not there yet. I need to do a wash tonight. I have pasta bake in the fridge for tonight. Just listening to the radio and checking the internet at the moment. Busy day ahead at work today.Credit card 2395

I'm same re payslip. I'd like to know what's coming in though I don't get paid till end of week but mine's not there yet either.
Pasta bake sounds nice.1 -
Finally got my payslip! It’s quite a bit more than I’d been calculating (they haven’t taken any pension plus I wasn’t sure about how much I’d get for the end of last month). I’ll be able to chuck a good amount towards debt.
Managed a no-spend day yesterday which I’m really pleased about. I need to get some lemons today so won’t manage one today.Credit card 2395

Glad you got your payslip. Always nice when youve more money than you expected. That happened to me last month and I also repaid back money Id borrowed from.
Well done on the NSD.1 -
Managed another no-spend day yesterday as I didn’t want to stop at the supermarket and could do without the lemons. Might try for two more days this week.
Such a relief to be able to make a bigger payment to debt when I get paid. Should be able to get it under 2k which will be a psychological boost.
Just trying to decide what I’m going to do this weekend. Still waiting for an email back from the gym about why I couldn’t get in last week. If that gets resolved a gym session I think. It’s also our local film festival so I might spend a bit of time seeing what’s on and catch something. Will try not to have a meal out although it’s tempting. I am trying not to eat out until I’ve cleared debt. Also need to cook meals for the week as I’m working mostly lates next week so will need something I can chuck in the oven. I have a squash so might make a big squash and mackerel pasta bake. Pasta bake is my favourite.Credit card 2395

It’s a stormy day out of the window! Will be a blowy ride to work. Am just eating my breakfast. My wages are showing at the top of my bank account, will come through tonight/ tomorrow.
I’m at my sister’s for dinner tonight, I think we’re having toad in the hole so that’s something to look forward to. Will be good to see everyone.
Need to do a shop this weekend. Probably won’t be massive as I’m making a pasta bake for the week, will do a big shop the weekend after as I’ll be on earlies that week and able to cook in the evenings.
I made a mistake and messed up my knitting so I’m a bit discouraged and didn’t do any last night. Maybe I’ll push on with starting that again at the weekend.
The holiday requests for next year have opened at work so I’ve started thinking about when I’m going to take off. Have requested a week in January. I have time off over Christmas too. I haven’t had a full week off since May so I’ll be ready for it. Am going to see my further away sister again next year. Also want to take a week off in September. Apart from that I think I’ll wait to book the rest of it.Credit card 2395

Glad the wages are better than expected, and well done on the NSDs

One more day to the weekend. Work was great and I got two lots of good feedback which really meant a lot. Had dinner at my sister’s which was lovely. Might try and go for a walk this weekend. I vaguely have an ice cream trip planned with a friend but that depends if she is around. Going to try not to spend too much. I’ve also got Bake Off to watch and my knitting to do. Life is generally pretty good at the moment.Credit card 2395

Got paid and moved all my money around. Can’t pay my credit card yet as the statement hasn’t been issued but did pay some to cover interest as I’m close to the limit. I gave myself my weekly allowance and I’m going to try to be really disciplined about sticking to this. I can last a week on £20 at the end of the month so I should be able to do a week on more than that at the beginning. Bought some shampoo for £20.
Am doing some overtime this month but I think that won’t come through until December. Something to look forward to anyway.
Planning a nice walk at the weekend.Credit card 2395
