Should itsthelittlethings spend less on coffee?

Up early but at least it’s the weekend. Didn’t sleep too well, I think I fell asleep with the light on and I had a mini nightmare. Completed the Friday night chores last night, would like to clean the bathroom and vacuum this morning. Also perhaps do an Aldi food shop. Maybe knitting group in the afternoon.
I bought a wool jumper for £10.99 on Vinted. I’ve been trying to buy wool more as I far prefer wearing it. Had the Swiss chard I got from a veg stall at lunchtime with dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I should have asked them when they will be there again.
Currently enjoying my coffee and looking out at the dark morning. Winter is definitely rolling in. I’ll be needing that wool jumper soon! Must not buy any more clothes though as I just don’t need them.Credit card 2000

Have had a really productive day despite an underwhelming start. Cleaned the bathroom, went to Aldi and Asda, cooked pasta bake and macaroni cheese. Just need to portion them up for the freezer and wash up. Might vacuum too or might leave it until tomorrow. I'm going to watch a film this evening.Credit card 2000

Well done on your productive day. Enjoy your film."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Up early due to the clocks changing. I’m supposed to have a free gym session in compensation for it not letting me in last week but it’s not showing up in the app. I’m not convinced it will let me in today. I might go along in a bit. Need to tackle the mountain of washing up, vacuum and do my Open University study as well. I would like to go for a walk as well.
The weekend always seems to fly by so fast. I’m watching the film Interstellar that I rented for £3.49 last night. I’ve seen it before. I went to bed before the end of it. Started feeling tired so I decided to finish watching it today. My sleep has been good recently especially since I started keeping my phone in the kitchen area when I go to bed. Recently I get into bed and listen to the radio for about an hour to unwind, then go to sleep.
I agreed to work some overtime the weekend I’m due to be away. As it’s a new job I don’t want to let them down so I’ve cancelled the train ticket. Will be good to get the money back and it will go back to my credit card as that’s how I paid. I’ll lose the hotel but that is ok. With the refund of the train ticket and the money saved to spend that weekend I’ll be able to pay an extra £200 off debt. I was already a bit worried about how tiring that weekend would be so maybe it’s a good thing. I should have my debt paid off end July next year unless I make any more overpayments. Then I will start thinking about what I want to save for.Credit card 2000

Great news that you can pay an extra £200 off the debt with the train ticket refund! Good luck breaking into the gym.2

Had a great day yesterday. I went swimming at the outdoor pool and swam for nearly an hour. I was certainly cold afterwards. Then I studied a very interesting unit and then went to post a pair of boots I sold for £25 on Vinted. I bought lunch out (£10) which came from that £25 but am putting £10 of it towards debt.
I've spent my weekly allowance so no more spends until Friday when it resets but to be honest I don’t tend to need to spend money during the week.
I’ve started keeping a record of all my spending again.Credit card 2000

Well done on the sale and that's a nice balance between using some of it for a treat and some for the debt."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

What a day. Work was ok but I've come down with a mild cold. Not bad enough to stay home but bad enough to make feel very slightly grotty. I also didn't have any paracetamol at work, have taken some now I'm home. The landlord came to inspect the fire doors following an absolute saga. I had to leave a key with my neighbour, luckily they did actually turn up and I have the key back safely now.
One spend of £4 on a coffee. I had to pick something up before work and wasn't quite sure how long it would take, had ages until I started so I popped to Pret. I've really cut down on getting coffee out and now it really is an occasional treat.
We got several croissants they were throwing away at work so I had three and counted that as my dinner. I’ve also just had some tenderstem broccoli to make my diet a tiny bit healthier!
I get my credit card statement tomorrow so can pay some off it and also see what the interest is. Hopefully not too much.Credit card 2000

Avocado and some blueberries for breakfast. It was pretty nice. I need to start watching my diet again as I could do with shifting half a stone. Really need to start keeping track of what I’m eating. Have been doing naughty things recently like eating a whole pizza with dip on Saturday and putting vinaigrette on my steamed vegetables.
Off to train at a new site today. Apparently the supervisor is really nice there so it should be ok. Work is going really well and I’m settling in and even making friends I think. I really like it there. A tiny bit worried they will need to reduce numbers next year as they are closing one site but hopefully it will be ok.
I think I’m going to have another cup of coffee. Just listening to a podcast which I haven’t been doing much recently since I started sleeping better as I used to listen to them at night when I couldn’t sleep.
Gonna try for a no-spend day today.Credit card 2000
