had a look in the mirror, not bad for an old dame in debt, must go to the local college now there open tommorow and get a cheapo haircut and colour, and sort out a course to do in the long evenings till spring approaches lol
might do something to do with computers cos it took me 5 yep 5 attempts to post my SOA and has anyone a cheapo link to 500 gallons of tippex cos my spellcheckers gone on strike

ok morning all

most probably may lose either my phone line and internet connection today or very very soon, why are some companies so damn inflexible.
will use local libaries free one hour sessions and my friend has said i can use his computer....thank goodness for alternatives.
so i may be kind of invisible lol as if , if BT and AOL and I cant hash something out this morning. looks doubtful, but still worth trying, wld be nice if it wasnt an Indian person with an accent i cannot understand still fingers crossed

Good luck Anna, I hope you manage to get internet connection sorted as it is such a lifeline! When I moved into this flat albeit temporarily I was delighted to see an NTL point as I was in the middle of a 12month contract with Virginmedia so had it installed here. Being able to access MSE is a real support and without I don't know what I'd do

Anna, You amaze me with your positive attitude, and how you are constantly able to realise that there are people worse off than you. I think that you are fantastic. You are absolutely right to understand why your children are too innocent to realise how they are being manipulated, but as you say, the truth will out eventually. And at least with the constant custody hearings, the children will know that you always loved them and always wanted them.

I wish you the very best of luck through 2008, and whatever you do, I will be in the background applauding your efforts and giving you a virtual hug when it's all getting a bit much! Take care.

Evening all,
Been another day of work work lol and lifes upsand downs... had some funny customers today where i work moaning that there nails have broken and likkle johnny broke his expensive crimbo toy, was so tempted tp say get a life, u know nowt of real life then thought better of it lol
i did something awful as well, one of the older ladies who work with me has been off ill for a while and i cornered my boss and said if shes off long termish or even leaves i want first refusal of her hours, reminding him of the times ive covered when the other so called staff refused, i think this new determined me is making him feel uneasy lol
Plus I wont be sharing my bacon sarnie with him on the Sunday morning shift...plus he can make is own bleedin coffee as well lol think he got the message.
My friend Malcolm took me for a meal at lunchtime today, I was disgusted with the curry they sent out and complained so they gave me the money back and another meal which I promptly sent it
back again as it was the old meal reheated till the chicken was like rubber and the rice was hot in the middle but cold on the outer edges.
When I had money to burn Id have shrugged this off, gosh when I think what an idiot I was letting folk give bad service rubbish food well tha Its all ended cos every penny counts and that particular pub wont be on my visit again list
Funny how your viewpoint changes when your skint lol and whilst it was a lovley treat to be taken for a meal I find Im working out in my head how cheaply I could have produced the same meal. This DFW is really addictive almost obsessional.
Ive probably spent less in the last month now that Im aware of how to do things cheaper etc than I have in the past 6 months.
The difference is i have to be careful but Im enjoying it kinda like a challenge and its fun (eeek im bonkers i know lol)
When one door shuts Im going to make sure two open... enough of my witterings, hope you all have had a pleasant DFW day and BT and AOL willing I may be on again if not its to the library I will go.

Am now going to have to tackle my shopping bills. Im spending about £25 per week on shopping and I am assured thats too much, plus my bum and waistlines expanded so I need to reduce that as well:rotfl: So any ideas on how to cut down gratefully accepted. I have an Aldi and Lidl anda large Asda within 15 min walking distance and have never been in Aldi or Lidl shame on me, will go for a mooch round them tommorow.
I have a pine table and chairs from local auction cheapo so its varnish and new seat covering for me this weekend.
Right am of to work to earn my weekly crust to knock another miniscule dent in my massive debts.
