    Hi Anna,

oh, I hate it when the post disappears like that! I try to remember to write anything long on Word, and then copy and paste it into the reply box.

I am no expert, and can only agree with some of the comments you have already had. Just wanted to let you know there is a fantastic amount of support on these forums.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

    Hi Anna,
I think you're amazing to be able to stand up after all you've been through, never mind tackling your problems head on the way you are. I agree with some of the other posters... if that's your GP's attitude, and not just a bad day, find someone else. Especially in view of the fact that he's familiar with your family history.
I also agree with Need To Sort It - get a proper psych evaluation. You need some community support as well as meds.
Re your SOA - are you filling out the one on this site? It might be an idea to save a copy before you post it
I wish you the best, I'm so glad you found CAB helpful.

  • hi anna,

well done for facing things head on.

Sometimes, during bad and difficult and traumatic times, we feel that we are just coping, because that's all you can do, and it takes a bit of time and distance to see what a strong, determined and courageous person you are (that's what we're all seeing here!).

    all the best,

    xxx

Oh Anna don't give up. Mine kept doing that and even when I'd copied and pasted, and logged back on the page just stuck on reply. I now copy into 'notepad' in applications, log back in again then copy from 'notepad'.
I read your first post, what a terrible time you've had, but by jingo you are such a strong person.:D Keep going, it will get better, every day is a day closer to your goal isn't it.
Best of luck luv and hugz Dizzy x

Have just read all these posts and it cetainly puts things in perspective - bad enough being in debt without all the other horrors you've had to go through. I'm sure you will sort it all out as you seem to be so strong inspite of what's been thrown at you. Good luck!

I have cancelled my Sky/Hopefully BT will be disconnected this week/AOL has to go may be held to full 18mth contract same with Sky 12mth contract.

Plus CSA are now debiting £29.00 per week from my bank acct...I am over £35.00 a week short of my basic outgoings

If I take on extra hours my CSA goes up at the rate of 35% of net wages.

I cannot claim Housing Benefit/Ctax benefit as they dont take CSA deductions into account when assessing any benefit i may be entitled too

I contacted CCCS who said go bankrupt...but as I have a beneficial interest in ex marital home this may cause probs, am waiting to hear from one of there sdvisors in the morning.

I am sorely tempted to just give in to the depression and give up my job but Id go nuts stuck in the flat 24/7 and I love my job and the folk I work with.

Plus the Police recentley raided the flat above me with a sniffer dog and 9 p/men, they didnt half smash the tenants door in. They tried to evict him but the judge tapped him over the knuckles and said now now naughty boy and let him stay, much to the councils horror:mad:  .
All the council could do was issue him with a warning to behave etc etc:mad:
My dear upstairs tenant reckoned it was me that informed the police on his dealing, which was wrong, the whole street complained, so now I have to put up with a right racket day and night, and him sticking his fingers up at me as if to say go on mrs complain theres f**k all u can do.

I am determined to get through this, the more they throw at me the more I shall stand up and be counted, just somedays it gets too much, then I come on here and read others troubles and thank my lucky stars that at least Im still standing ( pinched that from Eltons song:rotfl: )
Right am going to hit post it button and hope it appears on the forum
