@Timelord1. Thanks for explaining. I have no housing element because I my circumstances don't warrant it I think is is the reason. Living with relatives so I don't pay the official rent/ mortgage so think it's correct.

So does new style ESA not require anything from me then, assessments, appointments, statements, or any other things like that?0

Personally I wouldn't confuse matters further - you are highlighting that LCWRA element is missing from your statement which you are entitled to after claiming UC via managed migration from ESA Support Group.
That's all you need to say in my opinion.0 -
No, that would be fairly straightforward; it's your LCWRA that ESA hasn't confirmed with Universal Credit to be paid yet. You won't be the first it happens unless a note is attached stating Regulation 19So does new style ESA not require anything from me then, assessments, appointments, statements, or any other things like that?

@TimeLord1 "Did you put a note in that you were migrating from the ESA Support Group?I think they just take rather a lengthy time to communicate to confirm all the details are correct and what you are entitled to under (managed) slowly migration."
I'm not sure if I did or not. May have mentioned it somewhere along the line but perhaps not. I was just told all I had to do was wait and keep an eye on any journal notes. I thought they'd just know when they looked at it.
So I won't require an assessment, appointment or statements for it? If I have been in the support group for years?0 -
@KxMx Ok I will try and keep it simple then and just say the LCWRA component is missing after migrating from ESA support group.
I was just double checking as well whether that requires any appointments, assessments or statements? I assume not can't hurt to check. Thanks.1 -
Thank you. I hope so anyway. I'll let them know in the journal. I honestly thought it was going ok until recently but it's a bit startling that both kind of reassured me it was ok on their end if it's not. Although had there been no mention of new style ESA I would be none the wiser that it was incorrect but that still leaves me wondering how they mentioned it in the first place but didn't apply it. No, you won't be assessed for migrating over; you just have part of your previous ESA award not currently sorted out yet because they're slow at communicating. You will get it sorted and any missing payment added or backdated.0

You can also phone ESA to ask them if they've let Universal Credit know that you're migrating from Support Group. If you want, but really you will just end up with a phone jockey reading off a screen.0

Ok thank you. So this definitely should have been reflected in the statement I had even if it's not 5 weeks yet since claiming? It's all been very confusing. I will definitely mention the LCWRA not being applied anyway.TimeLord1 said:You can also phone ESA to ask them if they've let Universal Credit know that you're migrating from Support Group. I may need to go over these messages again to check I've got it right as still a little confused. New style ESA and lwcra are different or paid under the same header.
Just wondering what I should write to them. Purely just mentioning the LCWRA not being added or if I need to mention the new style ESA.0
