Shopping again today - doesn't it come round quickly?  I generally only go once a week. DD2 was here as her car was in the garage down the road, so she came with us together with her list and shopping bags.
We have been going through my large collection of recipe books to find some different things to cook and eat, that also use up some freezer items. So far a couple of J. Oliver recipes, both delicious but what a faff! The latest one has done two days and was admittedly very economical. Might try another chef next! In the meantime I have found a couple of recipes online to use up other bits - a surfeit of pesto in the freezer (ideas welcome) and one of cavalo nero kale in the garden. Nice problems to have, I know.
I have a load of washing out on the line.
Also hoovered and dusted our bedroom.
Visited a friend this afternoon, took her some marigold plants and some of the kale.
Watering to do this evening, though we are apparently likely to get some rain tomorrow, so I will only do the things that are very dry.
Grateful for seeing my friend and using up some food items (and using the cookery books instead of cooking the same old things!
