I think this is a little harsh, without commenting on the OP, some people are very fanatical about bands (or famous people in general), if, back in the day, there was a ticket to see Michael Jackson that included a glass of champagne with the guy some people would have sold their soul for that.

Except that things change. This could be the artist that has pulled the no longer avaiable events.

I suspect they'll have worded it as a gesture of goodwill rather than an acceptance of a breach of their own T&Cs.

I've refunded your booking [redacted]for you. A total of [redacted] has been credited to your original payment card ending in [redacted] and should show in your account within 5 working days. 

Any paper or digital tickets already received have now been voided and can't be used to gain entry to the show.
