OP it is the job of ticketmaster to state as many things as possible aren’t a material change, on the other hand you’d want as few as possible and if two sides can’t agree, sadly, you look to small claims and a court to decide ultimately what is what.
I was thinking if i have no joy with ticket master then as it was bought on credit card to claim using section 75
Ticketmaster only sell the tickets. They are not the promotor or supply of the concert.
    No debtor-Creditor link here.

Think of it like buying a holiday via booking.com.👍

Ah, that's frustrating. Maybe charge back then instead. I know that it's not law but I still firmly believe that a material change has occurred to the ticket

Can't see a chargeback working as you bought a ticket & that is what you got 🤷‍♀️

I bought a ticket that they've changed. I can't see how they can make changes after taking payment and the customer just has to suck it up. I don't see how that's fair trading practice

This appears to be one of those threads were OP has already decided they are right and is looking for validation rather than advice.

For what it’s worth I agree what others have said a full refund is unlikely you could argue a part refund but it’s going to be hard to prove the value of what was removed.

I assume there will be something in the T&C's that say that VIP extras are subject to change. If they won't refund you might have to look at sending an LBA and then small claims court.
    Come on you Irons

Then you need to test it.

    1. Wait for their response.  Assuming they won't refund, then
    2. Try a chargeback.  If that doesn't work, then
    3. Try a Section 75 claim and if that doesn't work,
    4. Send a letter before action and take it to court if they don't respond.

If all of those fail, you're out of options.  I assume the date is reasonably imminent, so you'll have to take a view on whether you attend or not, noting that if you do attend, there's no way you're entitled to a full refund.  Small claims action may take a number of months.

You've been in this situation before though OP, how did it play out the last time?

I was looking for advice on the matter. The link to the CMA guidance has been helpful, as have the information on section 75 and charge back.

I still don't understand how a company can sell a product and then change the content of it. That really doesn't make any sense to me

This is a different situation. Previous I changed my mind. This time a change has been made to the package I bought
