This has happened to me despite requesting I was not transferred. I received a text today that went into my spam. It has my new iii account number so I was able to log into my new account. All my personal details have been set up but no other data hsas been transferred yet.
What it indicates to me, based on too many years as an IT Project Manager, is that they did a dry run last weekend to test the process before the cutover.
Looks like someone forgot to send the messages to some sort of dummy output file.If it was test run, then it's got problems. My partner & I have a joint account at Jarvis with me being the first-named. On Sunday morning, my partner received two identical SMS messages, then a single follow-up apology, but nothing for me...[It's irrelevant for us - we told Jarvis not to transfer our account to Interactive Investors, our last share holdings were transferred out to share certificates yesterday and the cash balance sent to our bank account. Final transaction & cash statements for the full five years we've had the account were downloaded this morning. Only issue outstanding is a dividend payment due in July which Jarvis assured me would be sent to our bank account automatically.]Same here. Instructed Jarvis categorically not to even send any of my personal datato ii. Text and mail received from ii, so clearly they have done so.Let me think back on what I sent them in April when I got the shock news... I am writing to explicitly prohibit you from providing any of my
personal information to them under the protection afforded my by the Data
Protection Act ...... Please ensure that you immediately cancel any deal you may arranged for
the transfer of my account with said company as you do not have my consent
to do so ...Even had a reply which looked promising:'I can confirm that we have updated our records so that your data and accounts will not be moved to ii.'After a couple of attempts, got an S&S ISA set up and transfer request at beginning of June.Bit puzzled why anyone should need to mention closing the account when you aretransferring out to a different provider, I would have thought closing the accountis the obvious final step when it's all completed!0 -

I transferred my trading and ISA XO accounts to ii using a family member's referral link. This gave him £200, and me a year free of the annual management charge. There was also an offer by ii of £100 in free trades until Dec 25 for opening an account.
The transfers happened uneventfully in less than 2 weeks.
I may consider transferring to iWEB in due course as it seems so popular on here.0 -

My historic documents are still available on X-O, but I had to perform a search before anything was displayed. Also (and apologies if anyone has already mentioned this) there's now a banner on the X-O website to say consolidated tax statements will be available at the end of June.

Consolidated tax certificate was available online from 20th June and Shell dividends arrived in X-O account (and money quickly transferred) this week all as normal - so no drop off in service - which is good.0

It's now 22 days since iWeb confirmed receipt of my request to transfer some UK shares (in a single FTSE 100 UK company) from X-O to iWeb and the shares are still sat in my X-O account.
As far as broker to broker transfers are concerned, I'm struggling to think of a simpler example. The transfer form states 2-3 weeks for this type of transfer.
Guess I'll give them a few more days before having to make the inevitable phone call...0
