    Fabulous work @rachmac3!

That'll be a great thing to get done @beanielou. I'm not familiar with how it works, what needs to be done?

One more raised bed built, motivated by the fact there was room in the bin for all the soggy bits of loft board and formica-covered chipboard that have been edging the bed until now. Still at least two more kits to build, and there are some leftovers which I will have to work out how to use.

    My nails are filthy...

Well I tried to do my DBS form but their website refused to acknowledge my correct answer, so I tried to do the other main form but it can't be filled in online and I don't know how to answer it anyway! Emailed the mortgage broker who hasn't got back to me.
    Enquiries have been made.

And the important thing is that I tried 😂

At least you tried PIP! Those DBS things are hard work for education roles.

I finally built and filled the last raised bed for the veg plot.

Well done on attemping the form.  Why do they make them so difficult.

I think one of the reasons OATs become OATs (for me, anyway) is that they often take multiple steps, problem solving, and often frustration before they're complete. I'm now trying to accept that and be persistent!

OATs for me today - more stuff to the tip, and started sorting my seed stash (and planted out quite a bit of stuff).

One of the things that's been clear to me since using this thread to help work through my list is that what I consider to be ONE task, is actually multiple tasks. The rainwater harvesting has been hanging around for ages - it still isn't finished BUT everything is in the right place, I've ordered some parts and fitted them, I have others on order, and I think I know what I need to order for the last one. I need to learn to break things down into manageable chunks as I'm getting so much more done.

Today I have not only built one of the raised beds that's been laid out on the veg plot for weeks, but also sown more seeds that I've been meaning to sow for days. First I found the seed trays (not hard, they were sitting on the heated propagator in the window where they have been since I moved stuff out of them) and put them with the compost. Then I filled them all and stacked them up on the worktop. Then I found one pack of seeds that need heat and sowing now and did that (putting it on the propagator, sticking the lid on, and turning the propagator on). Then one more. Then a third. Then watered them. Tomorrow I'll bring in some seed trays, pots, and modules for stuff I want to start in the greenhouse, and try to get one lot a day done and back out there for the rest of the week.

I find i often stop 50% or 80% of the way through the task (or cluster of tasks) meaning there's always several half done projects hanging round stressing me out. Need to focus enough to finish, even if something takes several days or even weeks!

Speaking of which, I need to get my next set of curtains finished before I forget how I made the first set 😂

Oh, and I bought wood for the study shelves today, so I'll aim to get those up soon too!

Just about to wash the paintwork on the skirting boards and doors. Been putting it off for ages. Its not really a normal housework job IMHO, more a spring cleaning job.  I put it off this morning, in favour of a walk to the village and an online pilates class to help my stiff neck.  So now I really will clean the paintwork.
