Ooh nice clean patio and trainers @Wednesday2000!
It is feeling chillier isn't it, I put the heating up a whole degree and was not best pleased 😁
My daily OATs were cleaning the toastie maker as soon as it cooled down, a very annoying job and one that will gleefully annoy me all day (and night, and next day) while I put off doing it, and a very silly task that I always put off; trimming my nails.
They really break and tear just before that time of the month, and I watch them disintegrate for a few days thinking the whole time 'it will take me five minutes to take a clipper and file to these' *shakes head ruefully at self*3 -
SIL's birthday card has been posted (dog walk achieved at the same time), so just her present (vouchers, to be delivered electronically!) to do.
Plumber was supposed to come today, but having got to his previous job late (I know, because it was at my mum's!), he would then have got here while I was still in meetings. So he's coming tomorrow. Hopefully he can get quote sorted and source the parts and get 6 OATs sorted in the next few weeks (5 pop-up wastes replaced with ones with a plug and chain as the pop-ups were so clogged when I moved in they have been removed, and one faulty thermostatic shower bar replaced with one that a. you can turn and b. has a working thermostat!). I may also add a 7th of turning the heating flow temperature down again (and letting me know what it is) as some of the radiators are still getting far too hot.
Tomorrow I must ask the electrician about turning down the immersion temperature as the hot water is scalding!3 -
Progress OATs for me to do this week:
1. Paper tax return for Mr Redo - need to check what info I am missing. Mine can be done online and I probably need to request interest statements for some of it. P60 downloaded for one spousal pension, not yet produced for the second.
2. Companies house, sure something is due end of April although I may have done it in the flurry of Sadmin. Still haven't done anything about closing the limited company actually. I had done the necessary bits so one thing off the list
3. Plant some seeds, strictly speaking not an OAT but something I should have made a start on weeks ago. Ditto building and filling the last raised bed. Potted on some young plants that arrived today, and brought a watering tray inside so I can move the sweet peas and chillies out of the propagator.
A tired day after having a major clearing push yesterday to use every inch of space in the extra bins. It sums it up that I did the essential watering as it was going dark last night. Anyway, bins filled and collected, and five boxes of books dropped off at the charity shop too and another box of books going to a friend. Chipped away at a few admin OATs and did some putting away of things from the dining room.

@Wednesday2000 - Do you have some way to listen to books online while you work around the house? May be a way to fit a few more in.3

Excellent work all 😊
Bit more progress on my curtains tonight - sewed the bottom sections onto both, hemmed one, and pinned the other. This one will need pressing before I sew, so I'll save it for tomorrow. Getting there (very slowly, but after tomorrow I'm off work for 17 days so hoping to whizz through a whole trough full of OATs! 😂3 -
Today I have bothered to clean a pair of silver earrings that I constantly get out, think 'nah, too tarnished', and put back. Very excited to wear my shiny earrings that I have been meaning to clean for months!3

Not much OAT progress at chez SF mostly due to DH kindly sharing his bugs. He gets COPD rescue packs from the docs and I battle on with off the shelf remedies. Hey Ho temperature back to normal today and enjoyed pizza and Prosecco lunch outside for lunch (main meal of the day).
Did manage to put up two holders for new pots and take a photo of my boy looking handsome in front of my 30+ year old flowering clivia!
