I notice tonight I have a message on my RM click & drop account that as a personal EBay account holder I will no longer be able to use click & drop and my orders may be rejected.
So making it hard even for my low value orders to get around SD0 -

So making it hard even for my low value orders to get around SDMy LLs are still custom postage , I still print out from eBay and pay for my labels as usual. For non eBay sales I use click and drop with no issues for both parcels and LLs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I just sold an item earlier and eBay forced Simple Delivery on it. If I go to order details, it shows that eBay charged buyer £2.25 for postage. I listed this item under my regular templates which have custom postage selected and not Simple Delivery. This is really annoying as I want to sort out my own delivery. And if I go to print label it doesn't give me the option to change any of the postage details and print my own label.1

I had exactly the same experience y`day. I have been using advanced options and then custom postage but Ebay overrode it and stated Evri which the buyer ` chose` I dont understand if Ebay are rolling out SD then surely they should remove the other options.
I so wish they would remove the awful hold music but they must get royalties on that , wingy, whiney and sexist!0 -

I've just dropped off some Evri SD items and instead of getting the usual blue receipt with just the number of parcels taken, this time i was asked for my email address. By the time I got home I had received an email confirming my item was dropped off .
The receipt says
Thanks for dropping off your eBay Simple Delivery parcel on Saturday 7 June at 12:23.
then states which shop/drop off point I used and confirms all the tracking details.

Evri have lost a parcel sent via SD. And it's been the easiest resolution ever.
Tracking shows it's been in the warehouse for weeks. Buyer messaged me, I advised them to open a claim through eBay. They were refunded, I've kept my money, and it was so straightforward. My Debt free diary

Postage questions re SD-
I have done a few listings this weekend, all SD. They will need to sent rolled up in a tube. Without SD, circular rolls attracted a different postal rate. How would it be with Simple Delivery? I can't find specific mention of postal tubes.
Also, previously compensation was £20 for small parcels and if anything above, I used RM48. I have listed a few items for £50. What is current compensation under SD?0
