Money_Grabber13579 said:Is that not what Soolin was saying a few pages back and that this isn’t from SD but instead, the seller has used the £4 to purchase a label from eBay but has then purchased the wrong size because the user interface on eBay is confusing? If it was SD, the buyer wouldn’t have been charged £4 so if it gets picked up, the seller is going to have a dispute on their hands.
The other reason for thinking that is the way some accounts (my main private account included) deal with non SD sales. It shows a page when I go to buy a label that shows a 1g letter, I started a thread about it which I will post if I can find it. The seller needs to go into that system and change the weight to the correct one, and also choose the parcel size. As this is not an SD sale seller will not be covered RM charge a supplement for the wrong postage label being purchased.
That explanation explains the letter at 87 comment, the £4 postage buyer paid, which isn't SD and the £2.70 label which is a LL RM48. It's the only explanation that fits.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. This is what the page looks like, I have adjusted this to the correct weight but haven't changed the delivery service. However if the seller clicks the pen icon in the delivery service box the package size can easily be changed. Before I changed the weight tha showed 1g as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You're right, non-sd shows postage without a vat breakdown if you have purchased a label through ebay. This is an item i had listed before simple delivery;

Anyone noticed that the prices of Buyer pays/Seller pays are different too? I normally offer free P&P, but this option is sometimes adding on over £1 in postage costs.0

I spoke with an eBay representative on Thursday to express my dissatisfaction with the postage charges. They told me that I could ignore them, make my own arrangements, and that the postage fee they deducted would be reimbursed after 30 days if the label was not used. Is this right? Will the net funds be paid in the normal timeframe, given that the item will not track?
The example I used was a DVD that I would normally send using Royal Mail’s second-class service at a cost of £1.55 to £1.80, compared to eBay’s charge of £2.74. Their cost is even more than the £2.70 for Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service.
Edit
This is in the email from eBay now that I've sold something: 'Funds will be available 2 calendar days after delivery for tracked orders.
Funds will be made available immediately if the buyer provides positive feedback for tracked orders with a subtotal of £750 or less or for untracked orders with a subtotal of £10 or less. If eBay doesn't receive delivery confirmation from the courier, funds will be available 14 calendar days from the order date. Payment holds may apply.'
So, 14 days for the net funds on sales over £10 (under £10 immediately) and 30 days for the postage reimbursement.

Just wanted to pop back with something.
Someone bought two items from me this week, and eBay automatically bundled the postage into one - easier for me to send, cheaper for the buyer. When I saw the same person had bid on both I was slightly dreading working out how to bundle them, but it was all done for me2 -

For a couple of weeks now my local Evri parcel shop has had some minor building work and re arrangements of stock at the back of their shop and today when I went in they have made a dedicated area with the Evri label printer, several large building sack type things for parcels, and an obvious queueing system in the shop to access it.
Apparently having everything at the front of the store was causing chaos when their Evri load increased recently- so it's now all diverted to the back, with 2 counters at front to take pre labelled Evri items, handle collections - and for the usual shop stuff . When I went in today I had to queue at front counter to drop off my pre labelled items - but the queue for the printing machine was busy, perhaps 5 or 6 people waiting , some with large carrier bags of stuff to send.
Evri is big on Vinted already and more and more people seem to be joining that site. However these changes seem to coincide with ebay SD being rolled out (slowly) so it does look like a lot of parcel post is ending up with Evri rather than RM. That is suggested by my own experience, I am selling quite a bit - mainly parcel size items that I converted to SD- and 99% of it goes Evri, .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
