It’s gone very far,
A few years ago I recieved a couple letters of I think it was 3 separate offences in the same location.
A few years ago I recieved a couple letters of I think it was 3 separate offences in the same location.
I wasn’t there so I wasn’t bothered by them the letters that came had no pictures of my car so I assumed it was a scam.
Fast foward to the end of last year (2024) I recieved a CCJ saying I owe £749.08 the claim form said £720.12
I emailed the court CNBC Northampton to set aside the case to no reply till this day
This morning around 7:45am I had a bailif at my front door
Another thing to add is I believe the car that committed the offence maybe has cloned my plates which I made aware when I submit my set aside form as I have an insurance claim from around the same time in which an engineer was sent to look at my car and found no damage on it.

I also to avoid extra charges tried to pay the fine using the phone (automated robot payment) when I initially called it was the amount of 749 but if wouldn’t let it go through so someone then answered the phone and told me it was now upped to £958 because it was escalated to the high court.
The CCJ judgment was made on 16/12/24 I received the letter on 19/12/24 and called to make payment the same day so in the space of 3 days the case was escalated to the high court.
ive recieved no reply from the court on the status of my case (set aside) I really don’t know what to do
The bailif was told I sent an email to set aside the case and he told me I kmow owe 1651.47

The title of your thread doesn't tell the stage you're at...CCJ Bailiff at my door today would have been better.
There is info on CCJ in NEWBIES thread post 2 the fact it's escalated to high court @Coupon-mad @ChirpyChicken may offer the relevant advice needed.2 -
Can I change the title?0

The way this sum of money is increasing looks way above the capped sums allowed.

Get yourself down to your local court TODAY with a signed N244 form, asking to 'STAY THE WRIT' and set aside the CCJ as you have good prospects of defence.
Read that thread. The OP did it wrong at first, like you did. No applying to the CNBC.
DO IT AT YOUR LOCAL COURT AND PAY £14 or £15 TODAY TO APPLY TO 'STAY THE WRIT'
This is very very very urgent.
Do not let the HCEOs in the door.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

how do I do this writ thing do I just tell them I want a stay of writ verbally?2 -
No.
Please read the form and read the linked thread. Fill in the N244 form and state you want an order to stay the writ because you had already contacted the CNBC to set aside this CCJ in November but they appear to have lost that email, and you have acted promptly and have good prospects of successful defence, so under the Denton principles the CCJ should be set aside when the writ is stayed.

There was also someone asking for the expiry on the writ of control I don’t have one of those I just have 2 letters one saying “high court enforcement attendance” and the other saying”Notice after entry or taking control of goods (on a highway) and inventory of goods taken into control”1
