    Hi there purpleivy

I layered mine up in a tea towel as they were cooked too, so they were still lovely and warm when i was done :T

To freeze them i slid 1 into a small food bag and sat one on top of the bag and did the same again so they were all seperated and then slid them into a zip bag and into the freezer...the shop ones always used to stick together and rip when defrosted ..so i thought id play safe.
the bags have been put on one side for the next lot ;)

I can't believe how nice they were.... they came out soft and smooth if that makes sense -i sometimes find the shop ones a bit stiff and rough

Hi there again. Thanks for the tips re wraps. My children (17 & 14) eat these as often as they are allowed! If there is nothing else available, out comes the grated cheese and tomato ketchup... coleslaw if available! Eeeeuuwww. I'm not desperately fond of wraps, I prefer yeast in my bread... nice malted seeded hm loaf! In the interests of Science I tried a couple and they are a lot nicer than the shop ones. Problem is that I will have to make them quite often I think! Oh! and they won't get frustrated when they're all stuck to each other as well!

It really was a money saving thing in the end, dh had them for dinner with the end of the corned beef in them plus coleslaw, then another with cheese and branston. I was going to send him to the chippy... dd not desperately hungry as she's not 100%, ds on music course and I wasn't hungry as my client showed up late this morning and I didn't get lunch till 2pm.... so that saved several ££

Thank you people for putting up the recipe but how do you cook them? I love them and to be honest would eat more if they werent £1.49 for at the supermarket! I have started eatting them rather than bread or rolls for work lunches with cooled fajihta mix of veg or chicken and its the best lunch I think! :D

Does anyone have a recipe for the corn ones? I perfer those but they're even more expensive than the flour ones in the supermarkets.

I cooked mine after rolling thinly, on a griddle, 30-40 secs first side and another 10-15 the second side. Store in a heap between 2 clean teatowels.

One of many recipes online. If you are ever looking for a recipe just type what you want to find as in 'corn tortilla' into google and it'll come up with many options.

    Hi there

i had a go at these yesterday, but i followed an online recipie which included baking powder, the totillas were soft but very tough to roll out, my arms were aching in the end! Should i try without the baking powder? any ideas?

    thank you
