Does anyone have a receipe for HM tortillas please?
Saw them in tesco today £1.69 a packet:eek:0 -
I second Mrs Macawbers receipe. They are really filling and delish! Even got my mum making then now!!!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Has anyone made variations on these?
I use the downsizer recipe at the start and I've been fiddling.
I've used passata (from lidl) instead of water to make tomato wraps. Not sure how much I used, enough to make them the right consistency. Couldn't particularly taste the tomato, but they're a little tastier overall and a little healthier too.
I also tried (normal wraps) with some rosemary added to the mix. These were lovely, but you need a lot of rosemary for them to look like they have rosemary in them. Might be best if you have some growing or maybe put it to sit in the oil first so the flavour spreads more easily throughout the wraps. Seriously tasty though.
Tried grating a clove of garlic into the mix as well. Still worked, but didn't taste particularly nice. It was a little too sharp.
Has anyone tried anything else?
I'm tempted to add cumin powder next.0 -
Had a first attempt at these tonight. Used the downsizer receipe and they were brill. First one went a bit crispy, but I realised it was because I overcooked it. Rest were nice a soft. OH and kids said they were yummy and better than shop bought, noone had a split one that poured red fahita sauce down their front (the kids always manage that lol).
