Batteries for the scales found. I put the new battery in the scales...Since saying I intend to lose weight a few weeks ago I have added 3.1 pounds! From now on every Monday will be reporting on my weight.
I found random bits of g... two odd earrings and a ring without a stone. Tried 2 shops and they were consistent. One 102 one 100. I have a few other bits to find hoping to reach 135...
I tried to get some supplements in SD but they were sold out. Should be back in tomorrow so will walk into town in the morning.
I discovered our local chain of cinema has a cheap movie day weekly. Not as good for films as my independent but still good to know.
I wore very very light make-up, plus earrings. Attention to hair and nails. I definitely felt better for it
I made soup. I had 2 fillets of bream that were going to go off so they were fried and eaten too.
A huge family upset I can't go into here. My instinct is to jump in and help, but I don't always act in my own best interests, so I am weighing it up before I act.
A new Tai Chi class this week
I still need to change my energy DD and check I am on the best tariff
I slept ok and joints are ok too.
A walk into town but took the bus back.
Welcome to the week

Getting the odds and ends of G sold to pay for the dressing gown is a great idea.
I love a nice dressing gown, makes you feel like a lady of the manor before you, or even if you can't be bothered to, wash and dress!
Sorry to hear about the family upset. Really sensible to wait for things to settle a bit before getting involved beyond sympathies though.
Respectfully, some members of your family have previously rather presented things in different ways in the hope it'll part you with your purse or boundaries, so hopefully this will turn out to be a situation in which neither occurs.
Hugs all the same for a stressful situation
Some areas provide Falling classes, it might be worth looking online or contacting your GP to see if anything similar is accessible. Strengthening is brilliant but bodies are gonna body, learning how to fall more safely if you do, could be useful in time.
Though me and Mr PIP went through a week last month where everything seemed to be spilled or banged into or just weird, like I would pour some wine and maybe I'd misjudged the velocity angle, fair enough, there might be a drop of spillage, but the drops would land in a completely nonsense place like the liquid had gone up and leapt. We ended up having to blame it on the poles shifting or somesuch 😁
I expect your home is having an electromagnetic doodah passing through, is my scientific opinion 👍3 -
Probably best to wait awhile before you offer help with the family situation. It will give you time to assess things and think about what you can do realistically. Hope whatever it is can be resolved fairly swiftly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Sorry to hear about the family upset - yes, best to wait and assess as @PenniesIntoPounds and @Sun_Addict have commented.Make-up and nice clothes/costume jewellery also make me feel better when I go out....Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks @beanielou @Seasidegal58 and @jwil

Thanks @Sun_Addict I like the 'realistically' in your sentence!
Thanks @PennysIntoPounds glad you are onboard with the merits of a dressing gown!
Re falling... I don't fall at all just prepping myself for the future
I am going to wait a bit to see if anyone else comes forward to offer help.
Your scientific theory made me laugh
Wash load of towels done and out to dry. The first day in weeks it hasn't rained by now...hopefully they will dry.
So, the family WhatsApp is ablaze, but I am thinking and assessing and trying not to have a panic response.
I have a handyman coming tomorrow. He is just going to concentrate in the kitchen:
fix air extractor
put up two shelves (on is leaning on the counter)
put up old vintage mirror
I have a medical appointment this afternoon
A friend called today to meet up. I'm starting to think I am the most antisocial person on the planet. I compromised, so we are walking along the beach as I need to do that to get to my medical appointment. Also, I need to make an effort more.
Tonight I have a committee meeting
Wishing everyone a good day

Combining going to appt with walk with friend sounds perfect time and energy management.
'Mute notifications' is the way forward! You can look at the group chat when you are in a mood to do so and see what has unfolded rather than being in the midst of bombardment5 -
Dia, so much going on! Get your dressing gown on immediately, monitor and boundary-ise your internal response monitor before engaging text finger on your family WhatsApp group and if anyone notices you are quiet, use the electromagnetic doodah theory as to why your whatsapps are whatsnots🤣4

Another vote for muting the WA
