  • Not sure how true this is but I’ve heard that there’s a two tier approach adopted to hospital appointments. One arm is working through backlogs while the other is trying to ensure that targets aren’t breached for new referrals. That might be the case for you.

Dr's and hospital appointments are in my future - and while not quite as seamless as yours DIA, IMHO to attend a same day GP appointment last Wednesday and to have a procedure booked in for next Wednesday is more than satisfactory especially now my summer cold is wearing out so can start feeling more optimistic again

I know its not popular to say but maybe having a government more sympathetic to the NHS is actually working to improve things for us at this bigly end of our seven stages
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Finally caught up with your diary DIA - I started from June which is where I left off since I went off the boards for a while!
I must say you've been doing wonderfully - especially with the lodgers. The first lot was certainly difficult but you handled the situation marvellously!
Looking forward to reading your future posts!

    Hope the appointment goes well.

I'm impressed with your press up improvement however you do them!

I can recommend the ornamental grasses in Mr L. I bought a few last year and they're doing really well (apart from the one the cat has been sleeping on!). In fact all the plants I've bought from there have been good including an olive tree and a blueberry bush.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Thank you. Just back from Mr L and they had no outdoor plants just bulbs  :|

Dia , soooooo agree with not buying ok. It may have been the wise decision once,  but eventually it just doesn't cut it any more.  Good decision to wait
