I'm drinking much more water but will drink even more!

You had a very full-on domestic cleaning and clearing day yesterday, might aches be from being in odd positions?
Around the front door space sounds fab, I was thinking about a chair to take shoes off on earlier but just don't 'ave the diametersand yes, I have been moving and shifting and lifting. Also started press-ups and other exercises so...anyway not as bad today...
I don't have the diameter either. I have a small bench behind my sofa as a seat. My lobby is box size but looks better now the shoe pile has gone!If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Body not as painful today, better energy, better sleep. I used my pillow I used when my back was at its worst. It was a super expensive pillow so I should use it more. I'm going to use it all the time now, as I think it helped.
I have a neck, back and shoulder massage booked for next week. If it is good, I will make it a regular thing...maybe monthly, or as needed
I might join the wild swimmers as there is a group of women who swim here and cold water is good for inflammation, also might meet some new nice people...it might help my joints...I am putting swimming socks on my list and will start getting a kit together...
I did a roast yesterday and we had a lovely birthday meal with a cake too for a guest who turned 28...28! The meal was all YS except for the potatoes that were from the organic box and lovely. I regifted a few toiletries and found a card from my card box. We each had a glass of wine. There is enough left for a glass with their final supper. Apart from the wine, the evening was very MSE but hugely appreciated by my guest. I'm not drinking much anymore so it was nice to enjoy a glass of wine with others
I need a lamp for the main guest room and remembered I have one somewhere...
A hospital appt this afternoon so doing a chickpea curry in a bit as that is easy and I can reheat it for guests.- exercises/supplements
- find lamp and set up on other desk
- find wrist supports and connect to my work table
- find a book to use as a bullet journal and day book
- laminate yoga poster

Well done on a productive day yesterday despite aches and pains, maybe build in some planned rest periods too? I find I will plan a day of activity or jobs and forget i can also plan rest breaks too! My old nanna used to do one job and have one rest lol3

Thanks @Tresinia511 I like the idea of scheduling rest toodoingitanyway said:

I haven't got my exercises all sorted. I did some, but lost count, hence (who says hence!!?) wanting the bullet journal set up...
I made a lentil and veggie curry and rice, not quite the weather but it went down well
I had a hospital appt. I have new insoles, but reading up on it, they weaken your foot strength and longer term working on strengthening your feet is better. I will keep them for using if back issues reoccur. More exercises to add to the list!!
What I am pleased with is the newly laminated yoga poster. It only took 8 years to get it done...
Anyway, the list will be carried over to tomorrow, plus I want my bedroom done. I have a free-ish day tomorrow so it should be achievable. It would be nice to do my yoga stretches in there soon!
I still need to close the kitchen down and put it to bed. Today I cleaned the dishwasher filter then soaked it in a vinegar solution. It looks nice and clean
My drain is whiffy so I will be cleaning it tomorrow and then pouring a hot water and vinegar solution down it
This post feels random and a bit brain-drainy (no drain pun intended) which is why I need to get the bullet journal so I can write rubbish in there instead

Dia, like most readers, I love words. I looked up synonyms for the word 'hence' and concluded the word was the most apt fit for the sentence you wrote. In fact, it was maybe the only appropriate word in that context. Henceforth I shall be minded to make more use of the word myself😁
Also, please do keep sharing your thoughts and actions with us readers, and not only for your journal, as we enjoy hearing about your news and events 😊6 -
Thanks @Tresinia511
I did know it was the right word. I just wondered about using a word best suited to another century
We can between us stage a comeback for hence! Re, journal I have no plans to leave here or stop sharing news and events. I will be using the journal for checking off all my exercises, daily spends and streams of consciousness stuff that I don't need to share with the WWW
So, the aches and pains have gone. My shoulders are sore but in a good way as they get used to exercise.
I slept well. Yesterday I stretched out my calves before bed to stop the muscles from shortening in the night and giving me horrible cramps. I drank loads all day and took magnesium. It worked.
I did a bit of reading yesterday and today (and will do more today as the book is great)
I found a lamp in the attic and got it set up in the guest room so they can read in bed. Found another lamp with a crack so threw it out.
I walked into town to scout for a wardrobe. I walked back. In the past few months I've got in the habit of taking the bus back. I will stop that unless carrying a heavy weight.
Looking at my list, I will clear it today and then start a new one
Soup from the soup maker for my lunch (lush) Later, I will make a tomato sauce in the sm after that. Pasta turkey bolognese for the guests tonight.
Will do a bit of the bedroom and accept it won't be a one day job...
We are half way to the weekend and my guests leave in a few days

Dia, i know that you knew😁😁😁, but as a proud pedant I can't help myself of course. Did you know there are loads of forums online debating if hence is an old fashioned word ha ha, I for one think it's perfectly modern and won't be told otherwise😆. Yay to getting your guest lamp in use, and hurrah for aches and pains gone. Onwards and upwards!2

Thank you @Tresinia511 onwards and upwards indeed. You will be pleased to know I built rest into my day plan in the form of reading. Since yesterday I read a whole (slim...) book I am now reading a biography and hope to finish it today...nothing done on the bedroom but there is still timeIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Always a pleasure to hear your musings, never rubbish.
I like a bit of 'hence', sorry if I've been a good influence 😁3 -
Can I also recommend one of my favourite old words.... Thrice!
