When I spotted something I liked in a closed charity shop, I put a note through the door asking them to reserve it for me - which they did!(Especially as someone had called in early the next day to see it, but was told, sorry no, we have a previous interested party!Very kind of them.)Hope you get your wardrobe, it sounds perfect.2

Thanks @PennysIntoPounds @ beanielou @Tresinia511 @joeyjimbles @teapot2 and @Humdinger1
Thanks @liselle funnily enough I have recently learned that the note through a CS door is even a thing!
Thanks @in_need_of_direction I'm starting to think you know me quite well too!
So, the kitchen is completely cleared out and completely clean. It's a bit sad I know, but a clean organised kitchen makes me feel calmer and happier. What is that about? But there it is...
The laundry is all washed and dried...happy again
I still need to finish sorting under the stairs, then my next targets are my bedroom and the front of the house. Dirty windows and dead plants! Not the look I am after!
My cup and glass breaking activities are being examined. I ordered a porcelain enamel small mug. I already have one and love it. It is unbreakableIf I have another I can use them for guests and forget the lovely breakable cups. Glasses I pick up for pennies at charity shops so not as bothered...I'm also on the look-out for some nice plates so I'm not using my fave ones constantly...
My houseguests have invited me out tomorrow to our local theatre. So sweet of them.
I expect I will sleep well as I'm tired, but I haven't felt exhausted today
If anyone is reading tonight, I hope you sleep well

Your new venture sounds like a wonderful idea- hope it works out really well for you.
i like what you mean about a clean and tidy kitchen. I don’t manage it as often as I’d like, but it feels good when I do.2 -
Thank you @Afdaff I hope so too!
Glad it isn't just me who gets a feel good factor from a clean kitchen! I've just washed up the breakfast things, tidying as I go along makes a difference, something I know full well! So how it creeps out of control I'm not sure...It is partly a space issue...very limited cupboard space, something I noticed at the viewing. I rarely use the oven so I decided yesterday to store the some pots and pans in there, freeing up cupboard space. I have a shelf going up that will store all my herbs and spices and seeds so that should help.
This morning
Dishes washed
This evening's meal prepped
Wash load done and out drying
Biscuits made and a few given to guests for their coffee break at work
The day has started well and it is sunny. My mood is back to normal. Organic veggies day, so that's a (sad I know) highlight for me

Dia, there's lots been written about a clean and tidy house meaning a clean a tidy mind, so I think it's definitely a thing. Hope you enjoy the theatre, what a nice surprise!

The creative venture sounds lovely!
Well done on the sorting and all the progress being made."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
