DIA, just thinking about your weighted blanket infestation - have you popped your pillows in the freezer, too, to decontaminate them? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2

My guest cooked dinner last night and two of my local friends came over. a lovely evening was had. However the online shop came as my guests arrived after two calls to chase the delivery. They helped unpack before we sat down to eat. Not the start to the evening I was after
Anyway, very late night by the time I cleaned the kitchen
My guest will be out this evening so I have a completely free day.
I have a few things I want laminated to prop up in the kitchen so I will dig them out and get them done.
Life has (I have) calmed down, a bit so I am relaxed enough to start reintroducing FROGS again. The frogs will keep being carried over until they are completed. Hopefully the continual jumping up at me these frogs will do will shame me into getting them done- I need to get an address change as a first step on some life admin. The organisation are beyond dreadful so I will have to deal with this in stages. This is an important frog as it is an INCOME GENERATING FROG
- I keep putting off setting up and using Minted. I know I will be fine once I get going, but I need to start. This is a an INCOME GENERATING FROG and will also help me declutter
- Send a little pressie to a friend
- Laminate poster
- clean a bathroom
- read for at least half an hour
- food prep
- walk for at least half an hour on the beach

Dia More time less money - every working person's conundrum! As you have found, you can gain and lose money but you can only lose time so it must be spent like the precious currency it is. And so it is, you are spending your wealth wisely every day by the sea and for every day you understand that is what you are doing x4

I have been reading through your diary and fascinating reading it makes too. Am I correct in thinking that apart from your developing alternative income streams your core income is from pensions? I am not sure if you are at state pension age yet, but would be rude to ask lol.
Anyway I think you are doing brilliantly. Take care.Saving To Keep Ahead Of The Game — MoneySavingExpert Forum

Thank you @rachmac3 @Tresinia511 and @Ordinary_Yet_Unique
Yesterday I finally got some small prints laminated. I've been wanting to do that for 10 years and I am not exaggerating! They cost £8. They are of minerals and vitamins and are beautifully illustrated. They are now up in my kitchen
So, I had a lightbulb moment today. I do live frugally but I also like art and clothes that are at the expensive end (not designer, important label type clothing) To make up for the expensive clothing habit, I probably buy 2 pieces of clothing a year usually during sale time. I also buy charity shops clothing, homewares and furnishings. But...art is trickier...I have just seen a painting I love...
So, I have had a chat with the gallery owner and could buy it in 4 instalments.
If I decide to go for it I plan to turn it into incentive to use Minted. I could then use my Minted monies to help pay off the painting...
I have said I will think about it overnight and decide in the morning. Although, my pulse quickened when I saw it, so I think it is the one for me!
In other news, I went for a walk. I found a beautiful glass for the grand total of 30p
A friend tried to take advantage, but I surprised myself by creating firm boundaries. They were not happy and tried to manipulate me I felt, but I did not shift. They made other arrangements. I'm quite pleased with myself
