Food plans sound lovely. As a meat eater I would love your non meat meals. It’s salmon / trout I can’t abide 😆 Yum to stuffed peppers and veg tagine 😋If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

They have gone!! My home is mine again.
We left on good terms. I had flowers from the younger one. We all hugged. I said to call me if they are ever in England again.
I have been paid.
The other half of the painting is settled.
I have paid for the. table and chairs. This is especially important as it frees a table that I can put in another room to work from. I should now be able to settle into a proper working practice
I discovered one of the windows I couldn't open isn't stuck...it needed unlocking...now there is a lovely through breeze in my bedroom
I found a taxi firm that I am happy with to drop them to the station.
The sheets are washing
My new organic veggies come today. If they come on time I am treating myself to a screening of Salt Path
There is a craft market at the church hall. I will pop in there once veggies arrive
I am booking a course of yoga sessions for Sunday mornings as a treat to myself
Thanks for all the support...I really appreciate this space and all the people who drop in with their advice and good vibes. It was difficult, but I did it! I am proud of myself
The new house guest arrives tomorrow evening. Gulp. But for today to misquote Martin Luther King slightly...FREEDOM REIGNSIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Not wanting to sound patronising or condescending but, as someone who has ‘known’ you from the days of not wanting trade people in your home while being terrorised by squirrels, I am proud of you. Great news you’ve been paid and the guests have departed. All sounding good and yes you should be proud of yourself. Fingers crossed the next guests are easier.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Yet again completely agree with INOD. We all need to challenge ourselves to grow - and even if it wasn't fun fun, you know you will get through it and can focus on the positive aspects next timeI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Smiling and waving and looking so fine4 -
I also remember your terror of tradespeople in your home and so agree with Inod about how far you have travelled to this juncture. Btw it is summer solstice tomorrow, 21 June. I had a quick peek at your last diary and tomorrow, to the same day in 2024, when you shared that you had your offer accepted on your house and how happy you were. And here we are now, project manager with experience! And hopefully there's better yet to come so you can put your feet up this weekend with satisfaction dia x5
