Glad the omelette idea was useful. Id not considered that your guest might be from a different country/culture, she still sounds entitled though.

Surely the next lot of guests will be better. Hopefully you've just been unlucky with these. Not long to go now 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I keep telling myself this is good for me. It will make me more flexible, social and able to gently handle conflict....or I will end up with a mental health diagnosis. Time will tell!

Probationary period over this Friday Dia, your work from now is as an experienced and motivated project manager 😁3

Oops I mixed them up but omg, admittedly I can eat that amount of butter in that timespan but I like sandwiches and toast more than I should and jacket potatoes but that's me making myself food and most importantly paying for it, not living somewhere where meals have been provided for me. What on earth is she using it on?
I hope you're at least going to break even with these first guests and not be out of pocket. Hopefully these are the worst you'll encounter so there's only one direction the ones to follow can go in.
I think an earlier suggestion of talking to people already doing this would be good, give you hints and tips from their experiences.

Thanks @Tresinia511 I prefer project manager to landlady
Weird thing is @Spendless she only uses butter on her 2 slices of toast so you can imagine the amount she uses! I bought Lurp3k but won't do that next timeI will make a profit due to my Lideel veg boxes and being good at cooking frugally. Onwards and upwards
So, I am luxuriating in my PJs and enjoying the house being empty. The upside is they are out from 8-6/7pm so I actually have quite a lot of freedom.
A wash load done and out drying
Stuffed peppers in the slow cooker and mini chicken burgers prepped
Checked taxis for dropping off the house guests
Paid for my new veggie box
Parcel ready for a return
Caught up with a friend who wants to come to stay whist her house has the floorboards pulled up. She will pay mates rate if I have her to stay. The money will be helpful for the kitty, but this would be during my precious 2 weeks to myself so not sure...
I have new people for most of August too. So, basically my first summer in my new house has been taken up with this. It will be worth it, but in future I will host just two people in one booking every summer as a boost to my income, but that will be it. I will have to find less consuming ways to boost my income
I already have an idea I am in discussions with so I will see how that pans out...
Getting ready to go to the PO to return my parcel
Hope your day is sunny reader
