That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

Back again, as the 3 items I wanted to buy, including the dressing gown are sold out! And there is me waiting for the sale...Bah

I made the mistake of looking, out of interest, what was available and how much. Must resist. I already have two dressing gowns I hardly ever wear! But so warm, so pretty, so in the sale...

Thanks for the tip about storing potatoes and onions separately - I didn't know they put each other "off"
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Merry Christmas DIA , have a lovely time and am jealous you will be able to have a walk by the sea. On Boxing Day I will be out walking , destination unknown at the moment but definitely not near any shops.

    Have a lovely Christmas!

Boo to the items being sold out.  Maybe they'll come back in in a few days.

I would be far too embarrassed to share the budget. It is A LOT

Aww merry Christmas to you too. There are swimmers who group to have a sea dip and there are fires on the beach. I am meeting a few friends after my walk and we will; chill a bit on the beach. Enjoy your walk!
