Wishing you a lovely peaceful Christmas DIA, and a happy and prosperous New Year. (((hugs))) XXXI Believe.....

I made the mistake of looking, out of interest, what was available and how much. Must resist. I already have two dressing gowns I hardly ever wear! But so warm, so pretty, so in the sale...

Thanks for the tip about storing potatoes and onions separately - I didn't know they put each other "off"What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?1

Have a lovely Christmas!
Boo to the items being sold out. Maybe they'll come back in in a few days."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Now stored in different cupboards. And yes lovely to be remembered fondly...Tresinia511 said:Dia that's so nice that your house guests are thinking of you! BTW potatoes also make onions go funny 😁 always store separately 👍

Aww merry Christmas to you too. There are swimmers who group to have a sea dip and there are fires on the beach. I am meeting a few friends after my walk and we will; chill a bit on the beach. Enjoy your walk!Sunshine_girl2 said:Merry Christmas DIA , have a lovely time and am jealous you will be able to have a walk by the sea. Today was busy. Shops mostly, but now I have in all I could possibly need. I shopped at marksies late and was rewarded with lots YS items that have been sorted and are now in the freezer

It is all very MSE but it reminded me that MSE-ing is quite time intensive. I am very grateful for all I have and so many are much worse off, but it did make me wonder whether there will be a time when Christmas Eve is not focused on shopping for YS foods...Or, a time when I just buy something rather than waiting for the sale, only for it to sell out...I know I sound entitled and really, I am not. I know how lucky I am. I think I just want to acknowledge the MSE journey is incredibly empowering but sometimes can be difficult and annoying too...
Anyway, happy Christmas to all who read, comment and make the journey easier. Have a lovely day tomorrow.
