I would ONLY send DCB Ltd (and DCB Legal if they filed the claim itself) a copy of the N244 and receipt for £303 and tell them you've applied to stay the writ and set aside the CCJ so they must call their HCEO dogs off immediately and await directions from the local court.

I wouldn't send them the defence yet.

Now please show us the bailiff letters to review as I think they've made up sums of money. This might give you grounds to show 'wholly unreasonable conduct' by DCB group and could give you a way to ask at your hearing, for them to pay your £303 fee in the end.

BTW, you haven't got any Spring/Summer holiday booked have you? Dates to avoid as you are flying, at a wedding or other family celebration, working away, having a baby etc?

Mainly Easter dates but also beyond.

If yes, fill in a n180 with those unavailable dates and email that to the local court as well, to ensure you CAN attend the hearing date they will soon set.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

@Coupon-mad I have not received anything from dcbl other than the writ which was sent by email at my request, you can see the fees in the photo and also the letter of ‘high court enforcement attendance’

I have not received my receipt from the court yet for the £303 so should I wait for that to be delivered or should I send that on afterwards?

I did as you advised earlier in the thread and sent the n180 form in with my n244 and I have 6 months of dates that I would be unavailable due to work commitments.

So below is my proposed email to them I’m hoping to send tonight as I have WiFi at the minute but if it will be better sent with the receipt I can hold off.

I am writing to you in regards of the claim xxxx made against me, please see attached my N244 form that has been sent to my local county court to Stay the Writ & Set Aside the judgement made against me.

You MUST now stop all High Court Enforcement Officers and await further instruction from Hull City Combined Court Centre

    Yours Faithfully

    xxx

Please show us redacted pics of:

    - the Claim Form (November)

    - the letter or email dated 12th march 25 for a sum of £1500+

Read this thread. Almost exactly the same and they have added what I think are false sums of money:

Please show (redacted) the claim form your wife had in her hand in November.

I have received the sum of £1500+ is what they told me when I called them when I panicked when the letter 1st came through.
    Please read the linked thread.

Ring up again and record the call. I told that other poster EXACTLY what to ask.

Do exactly the same as I just told them to ask - and record it on a second phone.

You need this evidence to show your Judge and I need a recording like we had in the case a few years ago where DCB were recorded and heard to lie to a pregnant woman about the money.

I want to show this Government what is happening. I can because I have their ear at the moment.
