I really really hope you DIDN'T include that wholly inappropriate WS that says the claim went to an old address? It didn't. Why on earth did you copy stuff from another case that would be lying to the court?

Please tell us you didn't include that.

it should have been £15 . And I hope you didn’t file a “defence” or “WS”  containing facts that are not relevant or true to your case .  I tried to get you to wait for @Coupon-mad for best advice with that .

The advice I gave for this was correct
They have gone and wasted nearly 290 by not paying for the correct application

No it was £14 or £15 to stay a writ!  We did carefully explain that. You were to pay a small sum to stay the writ.

'Regards' is for your chums.  Your chums are not attempting to seize your goods to pay off a CCJ.

    'Yours faithfully'!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I did explain to the lady on the phone that the fee was £15 to stay the writ but as it said on the n244 to also set aside the judgement she said it will be the £303 sum I did challenge it and she refused and just said would you like to pay or not? My most important concern was getting the fee paid before I go away and have !!!!!! signal for 2 weeks

Just so I am clear I am only sending a copy of N244 to DCB legal or do I need to send the defence statement aswel? Apologies if I sound stupid with this but I have had a lot to process since starting this with you guys and it’s my first time doing this so it’s a bit of a daunting experience when you haven’t got a clue about it

    cheers
