Before complaining, it might just be that the emails are a bit staggered. My partner got an email before I did, but when I logged into my account thinking there might be a message there, it was. I think I received an email the next day.
I'm quite happy because I believe my partner, sons and I are all getting a payment.
DP doesn't qualify for a fairer share payment because he has no savings - in the first year only my younger son got one because he has a small Child Trust Fund at Nationwide. But actually his brother has more money in his CTF, so I don't feel too bad about it. I took steps to make sure that DS1 and I both got a Fairer Share payment last year.0 -
My wife did make a complaint last year. All they said is that she didn't comply with the terms and conditions. She pointed out that as a joint account holder she complied exactly the same as me, but they stood their ground.0

I see the amount is due to be paid by 30th April. I only hope they don't pay it before 5th April as I'm right at my £1000 tax free interest limit!0

See above where this was mentioned
"The ‘Thank You’ payments will be made from 9 April across the country"0 -

@Veteransaver As another poster pointed out, it is unlikely they will pay before they’ve said (and nothing to lose by complaining if they do as it leaves you worse off than you would have been had they paid in accordance with the timescale provided.) They have given those who don’t want the payment until 31 March to say so, presumably so that those who could lose more than £50 by receiving it (taxpayers close to the next band, having utilised the PSA of their current band, for example) or those who cannot accept for religious reasons aren’t put in that position.
There are only 4 working days of the tax year remaining after the deadline to inform them.1 -

Our log ins no longer work either.
I still got the email, as did my OH...
To say thank you, we are pleased to be sending you, and over 12 million of our Nationwide members, a one-off payment of £50 as part of The Big Nationwide Thank You
...
To find out more and for full terms and conditions...
Gotcha 😉
It's like April Fool's early
I opened several accounts years back when they a high interest on their current accounts.
I haven't used them for years I actually thought I had closed them. I don't have log ins, account numbers or anything.
So not sure why I got a letter. Dont know if its worth phoning up to get new log in details and new card sent.Ex Sg27 (long forgotten log in details)Massive thank you to those on the long since defunct Matched Betting board.1 -

I'm waiting to see I receive a text saying an account has been credited, before I jump through any hoops, as the email also said...
And if we have your mobile number, we will send you a text to let you know when it is in your account.
They should have my number, as it hasn't changed.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -

I think NW like to goad me
. I had an account with them for nearly 50 years (starting with a book at school). I kept my account open but moved my money to Chase a couple of years back, keeping an active mortgage at the time. I didn't qualify for the last £100 payment, spat my dummy out and closed the account once clearing the mortgage.
I have since re-opened an account just to use the regular saver and have £800 in there. I received the email to say I was getting the payment but nothing showing in the app. From the brief read of the T&C's I am pretty sure I won't get it...again.

If so, you fall foul of the cut off date at the end of September - but if not, I can’t see any reason you wouldn’t qualify. One of my parents just has savings accounts with them and may only have qualified via opening a 5.5% Fixed Rate Bond last June, transferring the money from a passbook account.0
