I think they may be staggering the e-mails. My wife received her e-mail for our joint account at 9.17 this morning, but my e-mail (to the same e-mail account) didn't arrive until 14.46 this afternoon.trickydicky14 said:I'm at a loss, I have a current account and two savings accounts. I have two DD's go out every month and I've had many payments in and out of my account and been a member for several years and all this within the required time frame but as yet, no mention of £50.• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.2 -
Well let's face it......the fairer share payout wasn't fair for some people. There were lots of Nationwide members who didn't qualify. This payout goes some way towards making amends.3

Anyone know if under 18s with a FlexOne account are eligible? I can't find anything to say they are not but sometimes these things exclude kids.0

They reference children's accounts in the terms (giving examples of exclusions such as accounts held by parents in the name of the child). So as long as the account is solely in the child's name and they meet the other terms for the payment, my reading is that they qualify for the payment as they are members of the society (just members who don't get a vote in the AGM)mightbedave said:Anyone know if under 18s with a FlexOne account are eligible? So one in four will be disappointed.I don`t know how many missed out on the fairer share payout last year - I presume it was a higher percentage as the qualifying criteria was stricter. If you have qualified for the £50, remember to keep your savings account, current account or mortgage open until the end of April!

The fairer share payment is meant to be tighter: "The Fairer Share Payment is our way of rewarding those members who choose us for their everyday banking as well as having savings or a mortgage with us." so it's meant to reward members who do their "everyday banking" with Nationwide.where_are_we said:subjecttocontract said:Well let's face it......the fairer share payout wasn't fair for some people. "In 2024, we shared our profits with nearly 4 million of our members.", so only 4 million got the fairer share payment while 12 million will get the £50 Big Nationwide Thank You.1 -
This is in addition to the fairer shares payment. Good.
Is this different to Nationwide Fairer Share?
Yes, The Big Nationwide Thank You is in addition to the Fairer Share Payment we made last year.
We would like to make another Fairer Share Payment this year. This will depend on how we perform financially. We'll announce our decision when we publish our results for the 2024/25 financial year.

DH and I have a joint current account. On my phone app it says I will get the £50 bonus - do we get £50 each? I tried to look it up and the answer was very ambiguous!Debt free and Keeping on Track0

            I don't know about 1 joint account, but 1 single plus 1 joint allowed 2 payments.1

I didn't qualify for any of the medals at the Olympics last year - doesn't mean they weren't fair tho.subjecttocontract said:Well let's face it......the fairer share payout wasn't fair for some people.
