2. Just give the other person's phone number.
4. You should (we hope) already know about what happens when because it's in the Newbies thread ... where the section is headed in red capitals as 'IMPORTANT' (and includes how to complete a DQ).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi @Coupon-mad, My point 4 question is the details obout the case. in my original response I had written there is no substantial information about the claim and POC does not give any details to help recall what all had happened. Now when DCB and submitted the N180 form, a copy which I received, also doesnt have any information on what basis do they believe that it is a valid claim. In fact the N180 form that they sent, is completely empty, it just has Euro car parks name and DCB name and address bit not a single section has any answer. Not what should I make out of it.
Anyways, my main concern is would DCB send all the correspondence that have happened in the last 4 years in regards to PCN and on what basis are they claiming this, only then would I be able to create a defence for myself. Would this happen before the hearing date?0 -
The n180 has no relevance1

Hi, another thing that i noticed on the court letter, it says this is now a defended claim and the defendant has filed a defence, a copy of which is enclosed...but I am the defendant and nothing but an empty N180 was enclosed. Is this normal?0
-
Its likely that the lawyers or claimant received the same letter and possibly they received a copy of the defence, but not you because you already have a copy
But its not relevant to the process as far as you are concerned, it wasn't included but you didn't need it to be
Download your vanilla N180, fill it in and email it to the DQ email address, if not done already
Then await mediation etc, by following the 12 steps in the defence template thread, plus the guidance in the second post in the newbies sticky thread , stick to the guidance, stop overthinking it
Nothing to see here ( so yes it's normal )3 -
I now have received an Automated Response - DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk
I guess nothing more to do but just wait for the mediation call now.1 -
Just to keep everyone updated, I have 25th July set as a mediation call. Only down side they gave a 3 hr window and said if I miss it, I would be penalised. So i would need to glued to the phone for those 3 hrs. 😪1

Hi all, just to keep you posted, I received the call on the 25th. I had mentioned my husbands detail in the form and no clarification given but I received the call instead. The lady on the call was really persuasive to reach a conclusion. Not sure if that is standard, she was pitching in points from the other side and I felt I was actually in a court room and she kept insisting that this would he heard by the judge. She said they have offered me a fine of 150 pounds on their behalf which is half of they are claiming from court and asked whats your counter offer. I said zero and explained her my reason and the full case. She was very persuasive and i said just because you are insisting so much I will give them £10 which is like 5 times the actual parking fee. I must say she caught be off gaurd as I wasn't expecting the call. She then came back saying they are willing to take 100 as a final , and said they did originally at appeal stage were willing to take £20 as an administrative fee for incorrect key entered but I had declined. I declined this as well and said I have full faith in the judiciary system and will go to court. she concluded that she would explain to the other party my points that there has been no loss of income as parking was actually paid even though for the wrong car number and moreover you were not the driver. Since then I havent heard anything back.
Normally when should I hear back after the negotiations call?1
