... the meter type could look like 1423-B BUT I think it's actually 1422-B. Try your image enhancement on it and see what comes up.

My poor best efforts only reinforced my earlier opinion: it's a 1423-B:

I can only guess at what that means, so perhaps 5-wire, 2-element with both 100A and 2A auxiliary load control switches. Aclara's documentation doesn't seem to have caught up with their product development yet.
    I'm not being lazy ...
    I'm just in energy-saving mode.

Most likely, as a number of their other documents don't seem to have been updated for other things either. So your best guess for a 1423-B could be right (as a 1433-B is a polyphase version), can't find anything anywhere else, not even a current certification listing for the 14xx-B range other than a NCSC listing (no doubt a .gov listing error!).

The 1422B also iirc independently meters the second import delivered to port 5 in parellel to the normal import to port 4 too

The way essentially some older RTS and dual meter configurations - like mine - did - so can say bill off peak heating at one rate - whilst billing the rest of the house at another - regardless of peak or off peak hours / restricted circuit active.

Whch was the way my RTS Heatwise was billed - and that my E10 metering majorly changed (so peak and off peak alike applies to whole house - like standard modern e7 installs)

Their naming conventions - even for the 1415 and 1416 - in the 2019 manual don't even match their guide immediately above - which referes to digit four as the numer of relays - they have 2 / 3 - the later with the 2A aux each.

Am I going mad - or isnt it listed in the approved meters list here - tried looking for Aclara and SGM etc.

@Scot_39 we are all going mad, they aren't on that list as I mentioned in my previous post.
I mentioned the difference between the 1422-B and the 1416-B in my reply here

As long as they turn up with a smart meter suitable for switching storage heaters, it doesn't matter what model it is.

No, not really. And I don't know why you'd want to.

@Rosie1001, if you do lose your afternoon boost you could always switch to Octopus 'Snug' tariff which gives  a 1-hour boost in the afternoon (and may actually work out cheaper for you than E7/E10).

Also collect £50 if you get a referral for the switch.
