I find it hard to find cheap lunches that are good for me. I shouldnt really have cheese or bread. Plus it's like a rugby scrum to use the microwaves at work, you can spend half your lunchtime in the queue!

monday & tuesday I work from home so zero spend by default. And i've planned the next 3 days as follows, soup, soup and more soup.

  • Ive been awful this week so far. I leave the house with good intentions and then when it comes to lunchtime my HM food doesnt seem quite as appetising.

Tomorrow ~ fresh start and no more wasting money

    Hope you're all well.

I've been awfully busy (on account of my DS "volunteering" me to do some home baking for a school nonsense) so I've not logged in this week.

    Here goes -

Monday £0 - bagels with ham, water, crisps
Tuesday £0 - leftover thai chicken and rice
Wednesday £1 - bagels with yuck* on them, diet bru, crisps

*Yuck = seafood cocktail from Asda mistaken for tuna

Ah well...it was too good to last. Couldn't face the thought of more tuna curry today so *forgot* to pack lunch. So had an EAT soup for £3.10. Am not too worried - haven't had one in ages and really enjoyed it. Back on the wagon from tomorrow.

  • I SO fell off the diet wagon today. Brace yourselves........So two mini daim bars for brekkie, veg soup/apple for lunch, finished off kids rice and chicken, went to movies with work - minstels x 2. winegums x 2, lots of salty popcorn.....1/2bottle wine.......fried cheese balls, calamari, scampi, chips, mayo, salad, cranberry sauce on a date....movies again - fizzy cola bottles, sherbert pips...and a chocolate brownie.............Oh dear........... :(

But the only extra thing I pay for was the brownie and sweets so
Mon 0quid Tues 0quid Wed 1.99 .......Tomorrow and friday going to be super good. I'm supposed to be doing a photoshoot next week so have to stop pigging out and bloating!

H i everyone, I've been out of the office for the last couple of days (stoopid training courses!) but have stuck to the challenge:
Mon £0 - HM lentil soup; fruit & nuts
Tue £0 - No lunch, had an early dinner instead
Wed £0 - Wholewheat pitta stuffed with roasted veggies & a yoghurt dressing; fruit
Thu: £0 - have hummus & carrot & pepper sticks, fruit & nuts.

If I can make it through tommorrow that'll be the first no spend week for me in a few weeks!

Had a couple of days off so no spend Mon & Tues, brought salad yesterday. Today I had leftover pasta which I'd put in my bag, and then took it out again while looking for something and left it in the living room  Had to buy a baguette from canteen instead - £1.95.. damn!!
