Hehe...poor you maz! Isn't it horrid when they do that in supermarkets? And you have to get past locked doors and security dogs to get to the soups and salad section!

I'm doing ok this week...spent 16p on a banana after gym last night bringing my total up to £2.86. It was my first gym session and I felt I deserved it. As it turned out, I got heckled by the drunk men on the escalator in the tube station about carrying a single banana - and then it turned out to be half underripe and half rotten. Life is not fair!

Well, Maz, you didn't just FALL off the wagon but you bumped your head too;)

And who on Earth would fall off the wagon for grapes. The ones that come in a bottle (13%) perhaps, but the ones on a bunch? Not a chance!:D

I had a NSL today, by accident! I intended to go out and buy a drink but then realised I had left my purse at home with all my cards and cash, so had to make do with water and the cous-cous i had taken with me!

Someone 'up there' must have been trying to tell me something (Stay out of the shops, probably!) lol

ooooh, this is reply number 666. spooky ;)

I spent £2.99 on a 'Meal deal' at Boots today as i realised that all I had for lunch today was either beans on toast or spaghetti hoops on toast. And as i had toast for breakfast and was planning on scrambled egg on toast for tea I thought that that was just waaaay too much toast for on day! ;)
I felt really bad about spending though... had to force myself! Definitely an improvement to last week when i easily spent £4 a day!:rotfl:

Happy days. 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on.... I love Easter.

Well, my lunch spending was good again this week but my MIL ended up in hospital (heart attack but fine) and it's cost me a bomb in bus fares at lunch time, a taxi home to pick stuff up (£13:eek: ), big lady things from Boots and some new slippers. All in all I reckon I've spent around £30 I didn't expect to but I shouldn't complain:o .

Was naughty yesterday again, at least the days off will make up for it a bit as I'm not planning on spending lots - and I've done grocery shopping to stock up on everything!

    So this week -
Mon 17th - £0 (salad, oatcakes, lentil pate)
Tue 18th - £0 (tortilla wraps, salad, spicy beans)
Wed 19th - £2.45 (chicken & potatoes from canteen, crisps)
Thu 20th - £1.90 (lasagne from canteen, crisps)
    Total for week - £4.35
Total so far - £40.53 (since 2nd Jan - average 72p per working day!)
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

    Hi All

    Happy Easter!

I just dropped by to change my signature and have a mooch.

redsquirrel80 is your lentil pate home made? I've tons of lentils left (even after making 10 good portions of lentil & bacon & 4 portions of carrot & lentil soups) so I'd welcome something "fancy" to make with it.

Hope you all don't get sick with chocolate egg fever today.
